This amazing contest is going to give two lucky forum members an amazing package that includes airfare, hotel, ball fitting and a whole lot more. Make sure to read this whole post before entering.
Fitting and data continue to shape how golfers choose their equipment. Titleist has created something to take that to another level with the RCT golf ball. This ball was designed for indoor data capture, the ability to get more consistency while playing indoors, and with the added benefit of better fitting data.
We have teamed up with Titleist to give two lucky THP Forum Members a trip to put it all to the test and share their education gained with the community.
Airfare to Chicago

Current golf ball? Hopefully this answer counts…Chrome Soft or Chrome Soft X or TP5 or Pro V1…after switching drivers, I’ve been trying to figure this out…I sound like an excellent candidate for a ball fitting!

I would like to coordinate some excitement about this. I’m wondering what’s going to be up for grabs for those that follow along.
Things are going to get crazy.
?
I am excited
I set the bar low in everything, not to worry.
And we will have a live update thread coming beforehand for sure. Tons of knowledge you guys will be able to share.
And I’ve hit about 47 different balls in the past week to thoroughly unspool my mind in preparation for this. Tried your Tour Speed on course for a few the other day. It’s pretty long off the tee. Surprised me.
Ha yea man, I’ve been trying all the titleist balls too. I mean, I’ve been doing that for years being a titleist fan, but now I’m paying more attention.
Are you talking to me?
I’m there for ya buddy, but .. not sure this is the kind of thing I excel at.
Yea you! Hahaha.
Don’t start with me Loco! I can behave when I try to.
I love chaos
?
I know you’ve had some concern with radar units indoors
What would I be checking? It’s not a review of this indoor ball generally speaking. I’m sure we will do one at some point.
It’s a chance for two THPers that won an all expenses paid trip from THP to go spend time with the Titleist Tour ball team, founder of Club Champion and learn a ton about golf balls that they will be able to share here.
Spin consistency readings on the TM. Nothing against the ProV1 golf ball. I know the experience will be outstanding
Consistency would be ball to the next, that won’t be a struggle. Accuracy could be? That will come in a review. This is all about the thpers, my only job is to make sure they have an amazing 24 hours. I’m not there to make any equipment look good or bad.
Sorry about that, not trying to derail the thread
No sweat. None at all. Just wanted to answer the question the best I could
That’s a lie.
DUDE?!?
I was all excited for a second. Don’t toy with my emotions and smoke-filled high school memories like that. Especially when I actually went to high school near where we’re going.
Airport Used for Travel? Fresno-Yosemite
Have you had a Ball Fitting Before? No
This one is a bit late, as participants have already been announced
My bad. Had to try, right? ?
Looking forward to the (more) informed feedback you guys have after this event!
Tour Speed is great. The numbers aren’t as accurate as the ProV1 since the Tour Speed doesn’t have the RCT tech.
The ProV1 has a firmer feel, lower spin all around, lower launch, and a little bit more distance than the TS. Dispersion is about the same, maybe a slight advantage goes to the ProV1.
The TS is still a great ball, especially for being a bit less expensive.
