2012 Ultimate Golf Weekend Recap Thread

Sharing some pre-outing time with One-T
Watchng One-Tizzle run out of steam as the weekend progressed
watch SW cold pull top hook a 5w into the calf of Wareagle on the new course (still lol)
Watchng Mward handle a cigar (omg lmfao)
Late nights on the patio with various outing folks
Degoins liquor voice after enough booze for half the outing
Cookie wearing his blouse like a champ, he owned it!
Playing golf and riding with GG was a tyre pleasure. We played with Ary and ADwillingham (both class acts) Sunday was very enjoyable
saturdays round with bearforever, playdough and Zach (one of the most enjoyable rounds in recent memory)
Villa crawl!!!!!!!
finally getting to meet so many of the forum members and shake their hands. In no particular order but all outstanding people: Yorkem, hawk, hanks, seemoreguy, ole gray, dawgdaddy, kb, sharkwrestler, Degions, mattykrack, whiterhino, bearforever, playdough, zach(don't know his forum name), golfforlife and mrs golfforlife, Chewie, grant, DDXU (rocked the jello shots), pmoa, sighman23, milehighgolfer, setho, fildini (pie faced every evening)
mward dressing like the good humor man at the dinner
a conversation about a sock with Wareagle during our Saturday round
pmoa's 100 ft bomb only to be topped by hanks plastic cup in mouth with liquid....Boom!
The belbs stroking ping i20 5i over the 198 flag like it was a pitching wedge
cookie's bunker play (there was no sand to begin with and now the greens are all top dressed)
346 yard rocketballz commercial war and I filmed on #3 of the north
Getting some Jake love during the villa crawl (love you man, broham, brosephus)
Fear the frog, how knew it just took alcohol!!
the countless one liners from one-t during the par 3 contest
spending time with war, cookie and Ddec (to worn out to give a sh$t) on Saturday


Im sure I'll have more but my brain in reloading from a blast of a weekend! Thx everyone for making my first such a great time!

Special thanks goes out to Lee (Mrs Golf4Life) she looked out for me during the villa crawl and armed me with lots of water that I really needed, even more than I needed that Bourbon from Shark Wrestler! Zach is lambro2. Really nice dude. I talked him into an extra 9 with Keygen & MWard and played the east behind the 6 man Captain challenge. I think Mward and Playdough had a blossoming bromance going on that day.

I packed it in relatively early Friday night so I wouldnt go Bullfrog on SCOR Shawn, so I was up around 5 Sat morning and just made them while listening to my iphone. Grant scared the crap out of me around 6:30 or so when he came in to grab a gatorade. They were a little strong, but since I was using a Nalgene to measure ingredients due to no measuring cups, they couldve been worse. Lee won the award for having the most of them during the crawl, I couldnt hang in his league.

Being a forum noob and outing noob, I didn't know what to expect. I arrived at the airport and met up with Seemoreguy and sighman to catch a ride to the resort. It was a pleasure meeting you guys.

Then that afternoon, you see a bunch of guys standing around the greens on the south and north course and the intros start. Mattycrack, bmwnola, dawgdaddy, ole gray, war eagle, etc etc. you would think that names were hard to forget, but in retrospect everyone is genuine and easy to talk to. What a testament to the THP community.

Villa mates at 3121, you guys are frickin awesome, Freddie's wings, ddxu's jello (ahem) rum shots, and constant hilarity from spank and grant, just awesome, Danny couch in it when I rolled back in at 1 am. Gus and Seth and interlooper awesome playing with you guys on Friday afternoon.

Demo day was a treat as well as all the contests, great notes to share on the sticks that I swung from the weekend. Boy oh boy does my game need some work! Hanks showing me up with a cup in his mouth and draining the 90 footer, sick. Thank you GGand JB for giving us both prizes!

One-t heckling everyone on every shot especially the wronghanders. Marco playdough. First night in his villa. Nuff said.

Overall, the golf was excellent but the company was better. Putting names with faces just makes this forum that much better. Everyone that I personally met and played golf with and those that jus joined in convos, y'all have made my experience as a noob that much better. Thank you THP for an awesome weekend I will never forget.

Trying to think back on the trip, so much to say, but here's my first quick thoughts;

Thursday meet and great was a blast. Walked in to a room of people you have never met before and felt like old friends.
One-T introduced himself to Cookie’s wife. He is now known as Chariot.
Yorkem talked smack to a random golfer on the practice green that he assumed was Tadashi. It wasn’t…
Yoccos introduced himself to me 5 times on Thursday.
Thursday round with One-T, DirtyDawg, and Nerfny was a blast. I think I out drove Nerfny on maybe one or two holes. She was bombing them out there!
Thursday night at Villa de Hawk was hilarious. Never seen so many people desperate to get the Doritos. Mward ate them all anyway.

Demo Day was a blast, thought my hands were going to be raw by the end of the day, the amount of equipment was mind blowing.
MC-One-T during the contests was hilarious. 5 strokes?
Who would have thought that a pond 50 yards to the right of where we were would be in play on the Wedge Contest?
Putting Contest was classic with Pmoa executing a phenomenal walk-off putt. Then Hanks steps up with “I don’t want to put my drink down to putt” mentality and drains it as well. The Putt-Off was well played as well?
I hit the i20s at Demo Day again, don’t think Kmac was impressed with how I hit them.
Post-Demo Day I played 9 holes with Tadashi and SW, beautiful weather after an afternoon rainstorm and had a blast playing…until SW snap-hooked his 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] shot on a Par 5 in to my calf, lol.
THP Banquet was awesome, great dinner with great friends. The THP Wheel of Destiny is a cruel monster.

If THP doesn't have an age restriction on attendance then you could probably go... For the golf.

You'd have to be "honor bound" not to embibe in the alcohol though, or anyone supplying it for the parties would be in danger of "contributing to the delinquency" and "providing alcohol to a minor".
