Opening in foursome at TPC Sawgrass Monday

I hate that tree. Nothing is worse than hitting it and then having your second shot from 20yds further away than when you started.

And yes, it was an absolutely awful drive haha

Okay, I hate to keep talking about video games, but when that tree was there in the game I thought it was some kind of design flaw, or just a way to screw with those of us who had mastered the 400 yard drive.....but there it is.

So, you wanna hear about my high score in Galaga???
 
I see they go through a lot of trouble to wire that tree up to cause havoc. Guess it would make to hole too easy if the tree were to fall.

NO WAY I don't hit that tree. Even with a 4I. Even with my 9* driver, I still hit it. I'd probably hit it if picked the ball up and threw it.

I would just aim slightly to the right in between the two trunks and draw it back around in to the fairway. Pretty easy shot, imo.

#9 par5 546....made bogie on par3 and back even par. Butch sank bird and is one over. Donnie drove 8 hours and is hitting it well off the tee
 
I am really jealous. I came really close to PMing you and flying down sunday night for the round... now I really wish I did.

some of those landing areas look mighty tight. Nice front nine there! How are the conditions? Windy at all? How are the greens there, I always envision tour greens rolling super fast.
 
Yeah on tv or even the video game you don't get the feeling of how tight it really is. And how much you actually have to work the ball, just to hit the fairway.
 
Slight 1/2 club breeze nothing to hard. Greens rolling about a 10 on the stimp.
