2013 THP Invitational Series - Where Would You Like It?

World Golf Village.... With a follow up round at the Oceans course

My vote would be for Nebraska, there are some great courses and would love to see THP in the cornhusker state.

But there are a few other central locations like Des Moines or even Kansas City.

Las Vegas
Dallas, TX
New Jersey
Michagan
Chicago
Oregon (Bandon Dunes)
Southern California

Dare I say it.......

Spoiler
Atlanta, GA

I know we its not probable but man did we have a great time.

Just from a venue perspective..I would second these.

Maybe one of the courses around the casinos in Tunica, MS would be fun too...THPers and Casinos, what could go wrong?

Yup - Dancing Rabbit would be an awesome place with the two casinos and 36 holes of golf right on site.

How about Asheville, NC with dinner afterwards at a brewery or any place that serves a plethora of there locally brewed craft beers. There is some tasty stuff that comes out of Asheville.

I think Chicago area would be good. Sort of centrally located for 5-6 states and it's got a bazillion courses.

I agree.

Dancing Rabbit is in Pearl and hard to get to, although I would like to play that course someday. Tunica is just 20-30 miles south of Memphis and had 7-8 casinos, and at least 2-3 golf courses that look pretty nice.

I'd be up for Ashevegas as well.

I'd also agree that Indianapolis is located in a good spot.

I would like to suggest that THP needs a solid series of west coast stops, not just a single event:

One stop in the PNW. I would love it to be Portland for obvious reasons, but there are so many really good courses that it could be Tacoma or Bend or dare I say, Bandon.

Then a stop in the bay area.

Then a stop in So Cal. Maybe the OC so LA and SD THPrs can meet in one location.

Then a stop in Vegas or Phoenix.

send fuel bill to ^^^^

Columbus PA? yes, i live there. lol
yeah dude, Dayton wasn't that bad anyway...
actually, with an Invitational being only a Saturday event, it would make the drive back on Sunday much nicer.

Unless I demanded we play somewhere Sunday. That will probably happen.

Vegas!

I'd love to see one held at Cog Hill in Chicago. 4 great courses that guys could play on the trip, and the event could be held either at the Dubsdread course if people wanted to spend a little more, or the Ravines course is VERY nice as well for a great price also. I think Chicago could get a lot of THPers there from the midwest as well as many of those that were at the Ohio outing.

I do also like the idea of having one in Vegas though, LOTS of great courses around there!

DFW! Many great courses, great airport and a large supply of THPers!

I agree.

I'd also like to see Dallas myself. I'd never wish you guys to have to come to Oklahoma. Yuck.

Nobody WANTS to go to Oklahoma...hehehe

Texas for sure. Can't go wrong with Houston, Dallas, Austin, or SA!

Philly or AC would be pretty good again

Des Moines, or more accurately, Polk City, at the Tournament Club of Iowa. What a fantastic time it was, worthy of a repeat.

I might also suggest anywhere in the Lake of the Ozarks region in Missouri. Lots of great courses there as well.

Chicago would be my first choice, followed by Indy and Ohio.

Gregory Hines. Tapping.

I would love to see one in Florida, even though the Outing/Demo Day is held down here, I think it COULD be a big draw with a great crowd on a phenomenal course. I am taking it upon myself to make the Florida THP contingent bigger and better than some of the mini-outings we have had lately, in hopes that we could draw an Invitational to our area in the coming year(s).

If one were in Florida, it'd be awesome to see it at Orange County National.
