Christmas & Holiday Food Feast Pictures

Dinner tonight was awesome. To start it off, I had bacon-wrapped scallops with a bit of bleu cheese cole slaw (there were 3, I'd already eaten two):

For dinner was surf n' turf. A nice fillet cooked black and blue and a lobster tail and claws with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus all covered in a great hollandaise sauce:

For dessert I had some great bananas foster crepes. Warm bananas, candied walnuts, and chocolate syrup inside a crepe shell with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on the side. I didn't remember to take a picture of this but it was incredible.

We had our feast yesterday. My girlfiend roasted a chicken, made chestnut stuffing, & cheddar mashed potatoes & gravy. It was really good. That girl can cook. :act-up: Sorry no pics.

Dang it you guys are making me hungry! :hungry: KellyBo is cooking up a feast right now and it's killing me to wait! I will probably over eat after looking at all this great food. Oh well, that is what New Year's resolutions are for

Just a typical southern meal today. Roast, potatoes, zipper peas, collard greens and buttery cornbread (more like cake). No dessert necessary since all the chocolate chip pecan cookies I made earlier this week are gone. The cornbread will have to do. We are having our time with family later in the week as my son is flying in from Vegas on Friday. My first grandchild is due any day and he's hoping to be here when she's born.

I am making beef bourguignon (from Julia Child's original recipe). We'll have a french baguette, maybe some butter peas and egg noodles, and a nice Oregon Pinot.
