TaylorMade SLDR Driver - Forum Testing Signup

Anyone have any thoughts about controlling your nerves in tournament golf? I seem to have a rough start and cant get out of my head after it.
 
There are lots of threads on it actually.
With so many THP events, lots of people have posted about it.
I would recommend searching for a few of those threads for responses.

I am super intrigued by this forum testing. I did well with the low spin classic head, and I am a big proponent of the higher loft so I could see myself really liking this thing.

Cannot wait for the selections

I am currently playing Callaway X-hot. It is the regular version not the pro.


2. What loft are you currently playing?

10.5*. I'm a subscriber to the higher loft = more carry distance.


3. What shaft and shaft flex is in your driver?

Fubuki Alpha ~50g. Shaft was chosen for two reasons. First, I like a light shaft. I have a pretty slow tempo and I feel the shaft weight helps keep me from getting too quick. In addition, the alpha shaft gets my ball up in the air to maximize carry.


4. Are you RH or LH?

RH.


5. Have you tried the SLDR & if so, what were your thoughts?

I have not. I've tried the R9, R11 and RBZ, but went a different direction with my latest driver.

5. Have you tried the SLDR & if so, what were your thoughts? I love the looks. The adjustability is very intriguing. The CG location is where I would want it to be. I haven't found a good shaft to pair with it. The performance wasn't up to the level of some other drivers I have tried.

5. Have you tried the SLDR & if so, what were your thoughts? Just in the monitor at the golf shop. The weight seems better suited to me than current R1.
