2015 THP Events--Where and Why? Lets Discuss

I would like to see an event that had a Top Golf included if that was possible. I do like the Scottsdale area as well. Eventually I would like to make it to the PNW but that would likely need to be a longer trip that is not on the radar right now. The RTJ trail is an interesting idea.

I would love to see THP take over a TopGolf somewhere and a karaoke bar in Scottsdale for some weird reason.

Top Golf and Karaoke, combined with THPers, sounds like a perfect combination.

Maybe even throw in 4-way air hockey!

Since I haven't been to an official THP event I will refrain from making suggestions, I'm sure the people who have put in the miles in the past have a much better grasp than I (plus I'm still excited knowing 2015 has a west coast event coming to try and get into). Out of curiosity has THP ever considered going international? Do you think one day the company would be in a position to do some kind of Royal & Ancient golf event or something similar?
have we considered outside of the Continental US? Yes. But as of now, there are not enough AC members to make a run at it in full yet.

I'm not as versed as most but a few come to mind that I'd love the chance to play.

TPC Sawgrass and the Blue Monster. I don't know if they fit the budget/criteria. Also, streamsong comes to mind.

I went to a wedding at Turning stone Casino around Syracuse, Ny when I lived there and heard the golf was great. I know we have an abundance of THPers in my old neck of the woods. Plus it's only an hour drive to get you guys a garbage plate and a pop.

A THP cruise destination golf event? Yes please! I could so get my wife to buy into such an event.

For something like an Invitational, I'd love to see something on the RTJ Trail in Alabama. I think an event in the Birmingham or Prattville venues would have success bringing folks both over from Atlanta as well as down from Memphis.
Just now seeing this thread but I agree whole heartedly Donne, every RTJ course I have played has been top notch and Birmingham is a pretty easy to get to city but I do like the Prattville courses a lot.

You guys are already coming west once in 2015 so I'm not asking for anything. A crazy set of conflicts meant I failed on my goal to cross the Mississippi for a THP event in 2014. I'll try to remedy that next year, as well as attend the west coast event that is already in the works. Anything else is gravy.

Hawaii?

I think Mexico would be conceivable as well if we ever crossed internationally. Cabo San Lucas is pretty accessible.

I would like to see another event in the Branson area. Now that my wife's Aunt and Uncle have moved into their house up that way, I have a free place to stay and my wife has someone to hang out with while I'm playing bad golf on great golf courses with even better people.

I would be down for that quickly.

My passport is up to date!

Biloxi, MS/Mobile, AL have merit. I'll always be up for going back to Orlando with the fine golf resorts available there. Colorado Springs (Broadmoor). Kohler would be nice. Phoenix/Scottsdale, Reno/Tahoe areas. Williamsburg, VA (Kingsmill). RTJ Trail has been mentioned, but lots of options there. Sea Island, Ga is nice.

FWIW: RTJ interests me also.

Might be a chicken and egg situation, couple of cool sponsored events might spark the membership...?
Anything similar in nature, even smaller scale would be great.
Understand the biggest memberships (and markets) are with you guys but lots of golfers in the EU as well.

many THP Events are stay and play. meaning that the cost of lodging is built in. if we head back to Branson that will most likely be the case. although we will always make things affordable.

unfortunately while that may be the case we simply cannot do the work up front and make certain guarantees in "hopes" that more people sign up. wish there was another way around it.

RTJ Trail courses would be fun I think. Fairly easy to travel to.

I have no preference, I'll make the events I can. But if you held a gun to my head, I'd like to get up to Wisconsin, Iowa, New York areas.
