I've loved the review threads from the THP members and since I can play weekly this year, perhaps I could contribute and it always reads like a lot of fun.

1. What driver do you currently play?

Ping Rapture 10.5, Mitsubishi Diamana (Blue) Regular, 63G at standard length. This replaced a Srixon Z-rw, Graffaloy Epic, Regular 68(G).

2. What is your driver swing speed?

Ranged 92-98mph at last year's fitting.

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee.

My natural shot shape is a wee fade. My major problem is maintaining tempo and the varying swings that result manifest in all sorts of maladies from slices to pulls and hooks. My last two rounds, my misses were mostly to the left (pulls or hooks) as I was trying to figure out how to hit a draw with the driver. Since I normally have a few degree outside-to-inside swing path, this is a troublesome shot shape for me.

4. What loft do you prefer in your driver?

I'd say what's recommended but I've played 9.5, 10 and 10.5 the past several seasons and this range tends to work well given the proper shaft fitting.

5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)?

This is somewhat setup dependent. With the Z-rw, it was a mid-trajectory normal flight. With the Ping Rapture, it's a higher ball-flight. My angle of attack is normally -1.5 to 1.5 degrees so that factor is pretty neutral. My preferred trajectory depends upon the winds and the course. conditions. I'll try to flight the ball lower when it warrants but I prefer to tee it up on the high side and go for maximum carry.

6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver?

I haven't played ultra-light or heavy shafts so I'd have to say in the 60-70g range that I've been playing.

- 95 (give or take)

- Slice. Enough said.

- 9.5-10.5 degree. Usually play more 10 or 10.5.
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)?
- High. Maybe too high.
6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver?
- Nearly all the shafts I've played to this point are in the 60-65 gram range.

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? Inconsistency, I have been working with an instructor, but my both misses (hook, and slice) are pretty extreme when they happen.

6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver? 70g I have never experimented with aftermarket shafts.

Consistency in overall accuracy and I also tend to battle a hard draw.

9-10.5 is my comfort zone.

I'm playing a 43 right now but in past experiences the 50-60 range has been best for me. I've played lighter and I've even played 70's. It's all about trying to fond what's best for my game.

I like the feel of the diamana ahina 60g shaft In my 910. Fits my swing nicely.

2. What is your driver swing speed? about 95 but I'm working on it with the TR3 Speed Sleeve
3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? I hit the ball extremely high and get a fade that I would really like to be a little draw.
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? I currently have 9.5 but think I should use one lower since I hit the ball high off the tee so possibly a 8 or 8.5.
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)? not sure on this, but the ball goes really high but it doesn't get top heigth immediately, so I would say it's mid.
6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver? I currently have a 60 but think it should be a little heavier.

I play 3-4 times a week not counting my league night of Weds. Which starts tomorrow. So I would definitely be able to put in some playing time with it to get an accurate account of the drivers. I'm single and spend most of my time on the course or practicing my game when weather permits. I guess you can say I don't have a life... LOL If I can play in the rain (no thunder or lightening) with a cover I will, that's how devoted I am to my golf game. I appreciate and Thank you for the opportunity to THP and Sponsor company!

I typically play 3-6 rounds per month and 2-4 trips to the range.

1. What driver do you currently play? Up until my range session at lunch it was the R9 460 set to N with an NVS shaft, after the range my 09 TM Burner has earned the starter spot back

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? Consistency, since taking lessons I now play as many left as right, and not enough in between

3. Biggest problem trying to go after drives I know I probably shouldn't. Doglegs that run out, hazards in my way.

4. Loft 10.5.

6. Shaft weight mid sixties is preferrable.

Plenty of time for the range and play 2-3 rounds a week.

3. What is your biggest weakness: Accuracy (longer shaft recently chopped so accuracy has been much better lately)
4. What loft do I prefer? Last 2 drivers were 8.5* but the 9.5* on the TM SF gave a better launch/spin number
5. Launch angle: Mid
6. Ideal Shaft Weight: Current shaft 48Grams. I believe in the current lighter trend to increase swing speeds.

(back up driver is the Calloway Octane Tour. 8.5* Stiff 70Grams)
Currently playing 2 rounds a week.

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? Accuracy, common miss is a low hook

6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver? Not sure on ideal... I prefer to feel the head of the driver during the swing so I would think this would lead me to a lighter shaft weight? 55g?

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? My biggest problem is hitting a slice. Every week when I play, it seems to happen less.
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? This all depends on the shaft in the driver. If the shaft helps the ball get up, then I use a 9.5 and if the shaft doesn't I tend to hit a 10.5 degree driver.
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)? I consistently hit a ball with mid ball flight.
6. What is your ideal shaft weight in a driver? I have always hit lighter shafts, between 55 and 65 grams.
