I've never had an issue with durability with the RX balls in the past, and these are no exception. I figure if a ball makes it 18 holes, that's really good for me. This particular RXS has now gone 4 rounds, except for a few holes that I played another ball for a comparison. It's seen many greenside bunkers, and several waste bunkers. It also has 5 birdies on it, so I really hate to lose it...Would anyone agree with me that the durability is better? Little to no scuffs on wedge shots or even after major usage compared to the 2011 version?
Minimal scuffing so far, but it's never hit pavement. I also have made some really good saves with it....3 chip ins for birdie, and it seems to like holding the greens.
I did finally lose the RX that I pictured earlier, but I scuffed it pretty bad off a cart path. As far as what my irons and wedges do, I've seen nothing so far. Part of the reason I like the Bridgestone balls. They seem pretty durable to me for the way I play.
