Ball Markers, Divot Tools & Other things we collect

I like to try to use the brass marker I got from the Old Course when I played there last year. If not, whatever is in my pocket at the time!

Trying my best to convince myself I have a lucky marker, instead of a pocket full of unlucky ones! :D

I have a hat clip marker from the US Open at Winged Foot that I use. I also have a Ping divot tool that has a maker on it that I will also use.

I have 3 that I use. A Callaway magnetic hat clip marker, an Edgewood Tahoe divot repair tool with ball marker attached, and a 5 dollar chip from the craps table at Harrah's Casino in Reno.
I like the chip because it's the old school style. Solid metal and gold colored......not the new plastic kind.

I use a large gold Hawaiian commemorative coin. One side has King Kamehameha on it; the other side shows the islands along with the state motto, "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka 'Āina i ka Pono" which is Hawaiian for "The life of the land is perpetuated in righteousness."

I use a 1942 silver Liberty half-dollar. I do carry something smaller in the event the size or placement would be distracting to someone or in a line.

US Open 2010 my parents gave me is what I used most of the time. if not that, I have a TM one as a back up.

I have a handful that I use. Most recently, my marker from Aronimink Country Club has been "lucky" for me. Once I find one that seems to be working (it's all mental), I stick with it. I have one from Pine Valley I have not used but will next season!

A Frisbee. Has to be Wham-O.

Just a standard PGA Tour Logo ballmarker, cheap and works

I used to work at a rental car place at the airport here and used to get crap that was left behind in cars all the time. My personal favorite is one of those plastic markers with a nub on the bottom to keep it in the ground. The logo is Enron, so I keep it around me most often.

I have a few, including a souvenir one from the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, and a fancy brass/bronze one that is engraved with a tree and the word "Toscana" on one side. I primarily use a Bicentennial Half Dollar. Not only is it nice and big, but at the moment, it seems to be lucky! One of my friends uses a penny, which drives me bonkers since it's so hard for me to see on the green.

That is a beauty!!

I picked up a hat clip and marker at PGA National during the Outing that I used for the few rounds I had after I got back. Clipped it to my pocket instead of my hat.

an iBar poker chip or a Tarheels marker

A Canadian 1 dollar coin. Better known as a "Loonie".

i use a couple of different things:

the first is my UNC ball marker (just like my little bros!!!)

next is my golf pride ball marker. the golf pride rep gave it to me at one of my tournaments over the summer

You can send it to me and I would be happy to protect it for you :)

A quarter. Have yet to find a lucky one. I usually try to find a quarter with a 3 on it as 3 is my lucky number. Once I find a 1933 it will be all that I use. (Did they make quarters in 1333?)

International currency: either a 20-cent piece from New Zealand, or a 1-rupee coin from India.

One T and TC, no offense, but I would vomit on the sight of your UNC ballmarkers. Sorry, I'm Duke Class of 2001 here!

Although this isn't lucky for me, it is sill fun to use. :act-up:
