Again, that was in my opinion because of a lack of defense. Those guys scored layups and dunks at will on dump passes and back door cuts. Don't stop penetration, bigs slide to stop it, back door is open. It looked routine last night as they moved past the first defender almost every time down the court.
Yeah they were definitely a step slow last night. I think the first two games can be expected to be the norm for Perkins, rather than these last two. He performed good in front of the home crowd, we will see how game 5 goes. The Spurs can still play some good help defense, but last night was not it. I expect to see more Blair in the next game since he can move side to side better than Splitter.
