UNMATCHED VERSATILITY AND COMFORT WITH PUMA GOLF'S NEW FAAS LITE MESH 2.0

Athletic styling, lightweight comfort and stability combine to create the perfect summer shoe on and off the course

CARLSBAD, Calif. (May 27, 2014) – PUMA Golf announces the release of the Faas Lite Mesh 2.0 – an extremely lightweight and versatile spikeless golf shoe for men.

Taking features from the original Faas Lite Mesh shoe, the 2.0 adds additional heel comfort, bonded construction and a new TPU support for improved comfort and stability. Weighing in at only 6.8 ounces, the Faas Lite 2.0 provides the ultimate in lightweight performance combined with coolCELL breathability to keep your feet cool in any setting.

“The Faas Lite 2.0 combines technology with comfort and style, creating a shoe that you will want to wear whether you’re walking 36, grabbing dinner with your friends after a round, or even heading to the gym,” said Grant Knudson, head of footwear for PUMA Golf. “The 2.0 version includes new, strategically placed support pieces that provides increased stability and added support during your swing.”

THE HIGHLIGHTS:
It’s Light. Lightweight Mesh – minimal single layer mesh for enhanced breathability and reduced weight.

It’s Performance Ready. The shoe features SmartQuill traction technology that provides directional grip elements, and enhances ground contact for improved stability and traction.

It’s Supportive. A stitchless, midfoot support saddle provides additional support where you need it most during your swing. The Ortholite Sockliner offers superior cushioning, while corrugated flex grooves provide optimal flexibility and increased ground contact throughout your swing, providing improved traction and stability.

It’s Comfortable. FaasFoam+, a proprietary blend of foam and rubber that is 25% lighter than previous foams, provides increased step-in-comfort, while, EverFoam is strategically positioned in the collar of the shoe that allows the shoe to adjust to the contours of the foot. A new padded mesh tongue also provides extra comfort and increased breathability.

It’s Durable. Carbon rubber, a high abrasion resistant rubber, provides excellent grip and long-lasting durability.

It looks Good. The Faas Lite Mesh 2.0 ($90) is available June 1 in three new colorways Turbulence/White/Grenadine, White/Black/Silver and Grenadine/White/Turbulence. Each shoe comes with two laces, one tonal and one pop of color for golfers to customize their footwear and style.

new heel comfort is a bonus from last year. Now if the back of them didn't dig the crap out of my Achilles I would grab a pair.

That's my only gripe about the FAAS's

Really excited to see these in the other color ways. I adore my Faas Lite mesh for range and quick 9 practice.

I'm a huge huge fan of these. Well the 1.0's- two pairs and counting

These look so comfortable. I need a new pair of walk around shoes and these might be perfect

They do truly look like a great option for all around use

Those red look awesome, I will own a pair.

Wouldn't mind seeing them in a different color, but a pretty sporty looking shoe.

The stock photo is really awesome, but I have some concerns about how much they almost glisten in hand.

Can't wait to see these in person and various colours!

Those red ones are nice, I would definitely try a pair out. Would love to see the other colors too.

Time to find a pair of these quickly! I love mine

Sucks that these just don't fit me, they look sick. Love the red.

These look pretty nice. Lightweight and breathable.

Love the look of these, especially as I normally wear red shoes. Just a bit worried about getting round 18 with my knackered feet. I need quite a lot of support or I get heel pain. I understand the previous model of these shoes weren't that supportive were they?

I don't know man, these are a little funky to me, where's Dorothy?

I just ordered the first version for $35 after I saw the Woot deal in the DOTD thread :)

Hopefully we'll get some reviews with comparisons of the 2 versions.

I like the look of the updated style!

I am a huge fan on the first version and they have become my go to shoes on and off the course on the weekends. Really looking forward to these.

Darn I should have snagged a pair to do the comparison
