In January of this year we reviewed an exciting new cart bag from RevCore, a brand underneath the CaddyDaddy umbrella. While we found a ton to love, not everybody is going to gravitate towards a larger bag designed almost solely for cart use. One thing we have always admired about CaddyDaddy (and RevCore) as a brand is they listen to their consumers’ needs and respond. In the case of their new Premium Stand Bag, the company went above and beyond in that regard. Not only did they deliver a bag that could be used both for carrying and on a cart, RevCore reached out to our THP Forum members in the design stage to gain insight on what the average golf enthusiast looks for in a high-end stand bag.
RevCore Premium Stand Bag Features
The new RevCore bag is firmly in the “luxury” class of golf bags and is loaded with features to make the golfer’s experience as convenient as possible. However, as we’ve come to expect from this company, it comes at an extremely accessible price for the level of quality it delivers. At $279, it brings high-end materials and performance to consumers that might normally have to sacrifice to stay within their budget. In addition, it comes with a handful of extras that make the total package even more appealing.
As is evident in the photographs above, the Premium Stand Bag is constructed of a foam backed premium synthetic leather that not only gives fantastic curb appeal, but also retains its shape and can be easily cleaned to stay looking fresh. RevCore has done a wonderful job of balancing sturdiness and suppleness with their material of choice. Stiff enough to withstand the stresses of regular use, it still manages to feel soft to the touch. At this time, there are two color options available: the navy blue seen in the pictures above and a delightful all black version. You’ll find the RevCore name embroidered on the straps and sides of the bag, along with textured lines that provide additional depth.
Available in both a six-way and fourteen-way top, the RevCore Premium Stand Bag is positioned to meet the needs of many potential users. The fourteen-way top is just an inch wider, and both versions have the same felt-lined dividers that not only look great but also provide ample protection for graphite shafts. We found the full-length dividers on the six-way top provided plenty of room for multiple clubs without unwanted sticking. While it’s not really possible to avoid all instances of this in a bag this size, we were impressed to see how easy it was to remove clubs, even while the legs were extended.
While this isn’t a feather-lite carry bag in the minimalist vein, it’s certainly carriable and the user is given a couple options right out of the box. First, a single strap is included for those that may find themselves riding or using a push cart more often. This option is less intrusive for those scenarios while still providing a convenient way to move the bag from car to cart. For those looking to walk, the RevCore also comes with dual shoulder straps. Both straps easily attach or detach with metal rings and clasps. In addition, both types of straps are heavily padded with a soft felt-like backing material. We tested both options and found they each performed admirably for their respective functions. A neoprene cover is also supplied for the single strap, a bonus feature designed to provide additional protection from the weather.
As you might expect from a bag of this type, RevCore’s Premium Stand Bag has a great deal of storage space. In total, it features four zippered pockets (one full length side pocket, a smaller side pocket, one of the front that can be removed for embroidery, and a felt-lined, waterproof valuables pocket), a magnetic closure pocket, and two insulated cooler pockets (with drains) for drinks or water bottles. While not quite as cavernous as RevCore’s Cart Bag, the space for storage is ample and conveniently located. The addition of a magnetic pocket is sure to be attractive to many potential users.
Additional bonus features we love include a large and sturdy towel ring attached conveniently to a Velcro glove holder. Like the cart bag’s, this ring is wide enough to accommodate the largest towels in our collection. As with everything we see from CaddyDaddy, the black alloy hardware and zippers are incredibly high quality and should last for years and years. The center handle is constructed of black ABS and is shaped nicely to fit in the hand. Also, a well-positioned pen pocket is large enough to securely fit a small marker for marking your golf balls. Lastly, the Premium Stand Bag comes with a truly remarkable rain cover. Unfortunately, we forgot to photograph it, but it’s constructed of the same material as the main bag and is structured enough that it stands up on its own. It’s zippered and provides easy access to your clubs.
We found above-average stability while using the RevCore, whether the legs were extended or the bag was sitting on its base. The legs were easy to deploy but did a good job of staying put when we wanted them to, due in part to a restraining strap at the base. The bag fit well on both push and riding carts and seemed to stay in place better than we sometimes experience with stand bags. Some of this was undoubtedly due to the slightly larger footprint and structured outer materials. In all, this is a bag that will surely last for years to come thanks to the plethora of quality materials used in its construction. On the off-chance that you experience problems, CaddyDaddy is known for its best-in-class customer service.

Great write up. I think having a bigger bag is a good idea if you’re a cart person a lot. I know a lot of us carry / push people try to get minimalist with our bags but this is absolutely one I would want if I was riding a lot of the time.
Love the stand bag aspect with the 6 way top.
Clean looking bag and it appears based on the review, they pretty much thought of everything.
Nice looking bag. Premium at a less than premium price. Will make a nice addition for anyone giving it a try.
Big props for the single strap inclusion. The double strap only in the “cart bag with legs” category never made sense to me.
Great write up. Really nice looking bag packed with a ton of features at an afordable price point.
If I was a reviewer hawks article is what I would try to say. It’s a great bag at a great price, checks ask the boxes, no added cost for things that ships be included, straps and cart protector sleeve.
Great write up. It’s getting harder and harder to not pull the trigger

The add-ons were a very pleasant surprise. Great bag and one I have no reservations recommending.
Great review, as usual.
I was debating between this one and the Fairway + I ended up with. If Callaway didn’t have the colour I would have gotten the Revcore.

Everything they do is so good. It may be my favorite company in the entire industry. A big part of that is community engagement, but they just remind me of an old-school company. Well built and thought out products, reasonable pricing, and great customer service. It’s rare these days.
I agree, limited interactions, but from those I have had, I agree. I wish more people were aware of this, it’s sadly becoming more and more rare, as the bottom line becomes more and more important. Had a similar discussion on that with my wife as I took her to the airport yesterday, we passed a Boeing factory, how that company has fallen, once the top of the heap in so many things, not just aircraft, to now, completely untrusted due to ‘the bottom line.’
Here is a pic of the raincover. It’s one of the nicest quality ones I’ve ever seen come with a bag

Great looking bag. This is at the top of my ponder list.
I’ll second the comment about how easy it is to put in clubs and remove clubs….i’ve often joked that every Ping Hoofer comes with a little gremlin at the bottom of the bag that tangles up your grips. Everyone who carries at some point also just says “screw it” and carries their bag for a bit with one club sticking like 25% more out because it just refuses to go back in LOL
There’s a LOT of room in the Revcore. Granted it’s a bit bigger, but honestly an extra 1-1.5lb isn’t much if you aren’t overloading it with stuff.
As mentioned the bag looks very high end.
I love that so many people here have been able to chime in. I appreciate each of your comments.
I really like what I see here. Although I know my wife would kill me if I added another bag in the near future. Just seems well thought out, and I dig the blue. 6 way top isn’t my favorite, but I wouldn’t disqualify it for that.

So do we. Love the review – thanks so much! @Hawk
And for anyone that hasn’t interacted with us or tried our products we take pride in being an old school company – great call @Hawk & @JW Smoove
I’ve purchased products where you buy and your on your own. That’s not what we’re about.
Lastly for anyone that missed the other thread. Code THP will get you 15% off the RevCore stand bags and everything else on our website throughout the end of the year. That makes our stand bags $237.95 and don’t think there’s anything close on the market.
Great looking bag and love the write up. Seems like it meets the mark of having the bells and whistles and hitting the “luxury” brand

I have a great setup right now. The RevCore Cart Bag is perfect for the garage/sim setup, especially since new clubs are coming in and out so often.

I need to setup a bag in my space. I have an issue of bringing clubs up from the basement, hitting them, leaning them against a wall. It now looks like an iron wall at a box store.

I buy so many bags basically every junior at my club uses one of my old ones. So when i buy a new bag and my wife says “another one?” I tell her “i guess you don’t want the local kids to have bags. Maybe they should just carry all of their clubs by hand, or spend all of their money they made at their part time job on a golf bag instead of food, I bet you would like that wouldn’t you?”
And then she drops it.
Donating stuff allows you to be a jerk. It’s in the constitution.

Love it.
So many great bag options hitting the market, and every time I think I have my mind made up, another one engages my ponder.
This is a great looking option, and the price tag is perfect.
great write up and really great entry into the higher end bag segment. this one will be on my shortlist if I have to buy a new bag any time soon
Great review @Hawk. Caddy Daddy is killing it on the bags with the quality they’re offering, especially at that price point! I’ve seen the RevCore cart bag in person and it’s beautiful, this stand bag looks to be just as good.
Nice review @Hawk and i agree this is an outstanding bag and with the THP discount you cannot beat it.
Just got home from work and had a box sitting at my door. Have to love being local.
This bag is terrific! Everything about it seems so premium but at a great price. I am super excited to get out to the course with it this weekend.

Looks immaculate! And super high end
Still love mine and I carry it on Thursdays.
First complement on the bag today. It was from the PXG fitter. He asked if it was a Revcore after saying he thought at first it was a Vessel. His eyes nearly popped out his head when I told him how much I paid. He was very complementary on both the looks and the quality.

These bags are so nice. @MagicSpell and i played today and I saw his 14 way top. these Bags sit so well in the carts no movement. One thing I have noticed at home is I set the bag on the base and it does not move at all. No tipping and very sturdy. I gave my bag a quick wipe down with a wet rag to remove the dust and it looks perfect!

I went back to the dual shoulder strap. My eyes were bigger than my stomach for single strapping a full round. I was like “caddies do it”….
Anyway, I love having the 2 options, I’m gonna make my friend single strap when he caddies for me
But I’m back to the dual
When using the dual shoulder straps, please make sure the clips are pointed outwards so they don’t scrape against fabric. We’re adding the instructions to all future shipments.
The bags ship with the straps in the correct position but wanted everyone to be aware. If the clips face inwards there’s a chance the edges may dig into the bag.
Here’s what we’re including with the stand bag shipments moving forward:
