Mark the calendars for one you will not want to miss. THP Live with Jon Claffey and Matt Neeley from Tour Edge next week!
Wednesday, March 23rd at 2pm ET taking your questions on ANYTHING you would like to ask. We are going to talk about the latest releases including some deep dives on R&D and what makes the new Exotics line so unique and of course answer what you want to know.
How to Watch
You will be able to watch on YouTube or right from the THP Forum. If you are not a subscriber to the THP Golf YouTube Channel, make sure to do so and click the little bell to be notified when new content comes out.
If you miss out on it live, never fear, the entire Q&A will be available on the THPGolf YouTube Channel.
that was super enjoyable.
Great video…I heard a hint at new Exotics Pro irons…when talking about his combo set with two 7 irons
Another amazing THP Live! Thanks!

SOMEBODY tell me you got a screenshot of JB when he froze with that face…
Did they really answer the question on another putter???…?
@JB when they mentioned they weren’t done releasing new products in 2022, how difficult was it or is it to not just ask about those immediately, but continue with the planned topic on the E and C 722 offerings?

I dont have any planned topics during our live streams.
That was a great talk. I didn’t realize how open driver faces were now.

Its why I always laugh a bit when you hear “its closed”. Its not.
This was a great watch, appreciate my question being posed to the guys! I had to jump off at 2:30 for a work call, I’ll definitely go back to watch what I missed. Lots of excellent info and the guys were very enjoyable to listen to.
That was great to watch, a lot of good information and examples provided.
great live stream today… seems like the sky literally is the limit for tee
@JB with the information on “most” drivers today being set to slightly open. Are fairway woods also open now too or are they square to closed? I only ask this because pros generally use their 3w to turn over with a draw and play a fade with their drivers.

Really depends on the line with fairway woods
Just finished watching this back and really enjoyed the conversation. I have said this before and will say it again that I slept on tour edge in the past and will be at the top of the list at my next fitting. In the mean time I am going to check out the utility iron.

Yes the utility iron was really intriguing with what they were saying about it. So much so it has @Jman looking into one (and he said the Fli-Hi was secure)
Loved the discussion, and excited that we will be seeing some new equipment at some point this year!
Now back to that Utility Iron…

I was pondering a utility iron…was leaning toward trying the Fli-Hi…after listening to the discussion, the TEE might be tops on the list to try.
Did @Jman buy one yesterday?
Also, in the chat @JB said “this one is going to @Jman” was that the hybrid?

No, we sent him the Utility that I showed on the screen for review. @Jman will be diving into the data and get a full story on it.

Thanks, can’t wait to see that club get the deep dive review. With how excited TE was about it, I want to see how it holds up to the Fli-Hi

Call Tour Edge, they have them, some items like that just haven’t always been on their website. You can get knockoffs on ebay, but sometimes the quality is pretty questionable. I have one that I bought on ebay when TE was out of stock, worked fine in my EXS driver, but doesn’t fit in my EXS 220, and it should.
I had one question that I forgot to ask yesterday. It came up when they talked about how they took the C721 and split to make it playable to more demographics.
Anyway, they said the C721 driver was really good for golfers who had speed. My question is, what do they consider speed? Are we talking 90 MPH swing speed, 95+, or over 100?
Hey @The Dave if you have any issues getting or finding the adaptor, I know @bbutler had a contact at Tour Edge he dealt with a few times I’m sure he’d be happy to share.

I would say 95+ and trending higher.
By having the E which offers a neutral to open face and easier to launch, without having massive amounts of spin, they can hit a pretty large segment with that.

that’s where my head went when they said that. We’ve heard other companies talk about when golfers provide speed, product Y works really well. But since the only industry standard is that there is no standard, I was curious what they consider speed.

I’m in that mid 90s range and C721 preformed well at that range last year.
