Last month the Titleist TSi driver line debuted when it began hitting tour bags and appeared on the USGA conforming list. Today the lineup becomes official with the TSi 2 and TSi 3 drivers and fairway woods.
We have spent the last few weeks testing them in the THP Tech Studio and in this video have a little bit of everything. Since the release is new, we thought it best to cover the gamut in this video rather than just the testing. First up will be Josh Talge, VP of Marketing of Titleist Golf Clubs talking tech and then we move right into the data and break it down for you.
We have a lot more coming on the Titleist TSi drivers and fairway woods in the coming weeks, but after watching this video what are your thoughts?
Working hard on my swing to get rid of the hook & have to say the TSi2 is getting them out there. I’m hitting many fairways but it’s not the club’s fault, I’m taking lines to cut dog legs & trees. Working pretty well.
FedEX came through on original delivery date! My first official Titleist club, many more to follow in October thanks to THP/Titleist!
I think the finger is healed enough not to open back up as the dumbassery drilling occured on the last joint…hmmm!
Sorry for the floor, just removed the carpet to begin hardwood. Had to take up some of the floor as a squeak was being caused underneath where joist meets downstairs floating wall. Squeak all gone…well except maybe the ones I’m letting out wanting to hit this bad boy!
I thought for sure an adjustment chart would be included as it’s foreign to me…off to the interwebs.

Decided to go and hit some irons and this new beauty against my gamer. Probably not the best idea, but then again…I’m good about bad.
After throwing the irons at the ball (what it felt like) and the finger was holding up okay I moved to the drivers. Shocker thinking I would hit it any better than I was the irons. Well it carried over but got a baseline to see what the new beast would do.
Holy cow…my inept ability to deliver a sound move still didn’t stop this TSi4 from out performing my gamer. I was both frustrated and relieved that it did but didn’t give me what I saw at the fitting. Guess between the knee acting up and the finger pulsing…I was doomed from the beginning.
Man I can’t wait until I can get back out there, hopefully this weekend.

Really liking this driver!
OMG, OMG, OMG…YES!
The fitting Titleist and THP hooked me up with for the irons in the event upcoming gave me the chance to get fitted and buy the TSi4.
The range session I had earlier this week was a semi let down and I know why. Besides my bad swing that day, the tee was too short.
Teed it up higher today and I was so confident with this thing I just let it fly. So good!
I’ve never had to think about roll out, but need to now and that’s a good thing. My carry is longer plus roll….what?
The app had me as a +2 on my driving handicap today. Let’s hope its not a fluke.
Played my first 18 hole round with my TSi4 today. Out of 13 fairways (3 par 3’s on the front), results were:
Driver – 2 – left rough, 5 – fairway, 7 – left (bad), 11 – fairway, 12 – fairway (longest), 14 – fairway, 16 – fairway, 17 – left (bad)
5/8 fairways in good position, 1/8 okay/playable, and 2 pull hooks – 1 cost me a stroke because it was just out of position and the other from a penalty (woods). Overall, not any more/less forgiving than any other driver. The longest was on 12 on a ~375 par 4 from the tips with 66 left to the pin…still only made par. Finished with an 86 from ~7000. Driver performed, I didn’t. Most strokes were lost around the green. 29 putts, but missed a lot of greens. A few penalties. 1 birdie and several doubles.
Between this and the TSi2 strong 3 wood that I have in the bag, I had one of my best rounds off the tee in recent memory. I hit 10/13 fairways, averaged over 275 yards (which includes the 3 wood tee shots) and had two drives of over 300 yards. Yes, I play at elevation, but those are still incredible numbers for me.

I was kind of unexcited about my round tomorrow, but damn if this thread doesn’t make me want to go pound a few off the tee. Love to see/hear of people killing it with these drivers!!
Well after struggling with my current driver for a while now after my round in Houston where I could not hit a straight ball for the life of me I headed straight to the PGA superstore and tested a tsi4 with a couple of shafts. Figured with the Titleist experience next month if I’m buying a new driver it should be one of theirs. I previous had the TSi3 so figured I would start with the tsi4 and go from there. Tried a few shafts and it just was average for me in feel and dispersion, surprisingly once I put the hzrdus smoke yellow into it performed like a totally different driver.
All in all it worked really good for me this weekend and by the 3rd round I was really comfortable and hitting it great on a fairly different course. Glad I picked it up and really love the smaller profile
I hit 9 of 12 fairways with my first round with the TSI2 this weekend. I have never performed that well with a driver, ever. It feels great to be confident in your Driver. Having and approach shot where you have a chance of par or better really makes golf a lot more fun. Credit to CC for the fitting, and the 55 Drago Three shaft is perfect for my swing.
Inspired by this thread I started with a 304 carry into a bunker today with the TSi3, and despite a small dalliance with a Max LS, went on to have a pretty great driving round with a few real beauties in there. 10/12 and a big average. Love this club.
I have been using the Cally Big Bertha B21 most of the year . While I liked it I never fell in love with . My good strikes were rewarded my misses were punished severely. I also had a two way miss with it.
I took a chance on the Tsi2 after some research never hit one before. Wow what a driver ! Love everything about it,sound , feel forgiveness and distance.
I have had it for 3 rounds , Fairways and distance hit way up , I can now play a little fade or draw with it , also my misses are still in play.
Can’r wait to get to tee box after finishing the previous hole confidence is very high . My playing partners are all commenting on my distance and accuracy , one of them just ordered one after seeing the improvement in my driving game.
I have the 10* with a regular flex Tensi Blue 55 shaft.
Well let’s see what happens with this beauty. My first Titleist driver. 10* Tensei AV Raw Blue 55g in Reg flex

Never, with any driver. I always make sure I turn the torque wrench enough to hear a few clicks just to be safe. It probably makes zero difference except in my mind.
Also, I’m still having a great time with my TSi4.

Here’s my 11 months later review of my 10* TSi3 with Mitsubishi Blue AV Raw stiff shaft. I use Garmin club sensors on all of my clubs so I know my total distances for each. I average 258 yards with my driver per Garmin but above was my best drive ever in the low 60’s with light rain this past Sunday. Once I hit it I knew it was a bomb, it felt like nothing off of the club face. Why can’t I have a perfectly sequenced swing all the time? Lol

Holy knuckle balls ! Tsi3 9*. I think it’s a Pretty sweet feeling and sounding driver! I literally just put down coin for a Epic Max Ls with a Ventus too.
I had a good TrackMan session this evening with my TSi3. It is almost impossible to beat the numbers relative to the swing speed.

Bomber for you Craig!
Got to play the TSi2 for the first time on course today. It definitely doesn’t have as muted of a sound as my Epic Speed. Not a loud crack but a nice pitch to it. Distance wise it was right on line with the Speed with a few getting out closer to 250 yards. Dispersion was a bit looser with the Tensei Blue R shaft than Iike and I have found a Black RDX for it already. I was able to test a RDX after todays round on the range and was getting a much better ball flight and and more distance with it.
I’m a few months in on my TSi3, and the honeymoon is……… most definitely still going!
I’ve been tracking and logging my rounds lately with a phone app, and since I got my TSi3, I’ve hit 71% of my fairways. I may have hit some longer drives with my ST190 that I played prior, but not by much, and not that many. Certainly not enough to make me want to give up the accuracy I’ve gained. And the club just looks and feels amazing. I’ve gotten more comments from playing partners about the sound, though. They love it. I love it. It’s hands down the best sounding driver I’ve ever played.
I played a round the other day with an older gentleman, and he was playing an old school Cleveland HiBore Monster. My God, the noise. It was a great reminder of how far drivers have come in the last several years.
I’m absolutely stuck into this driver, and don’t see anything else out there that even moves the needle for me right now.
I’m looking forward to getting a couple more rounds in with my tsi4 this week. The first 3 were very promising but have a feeling it will really get out to the test this week in NM. I have 3 rounds in with it so far with the hzrdus smoke yellow and they went fairly well however I have an Accra tz6 cb with a Titleist tip that I could bring as well. Just not sure if now is the time to be messing around
I snagged a TSi3 over the weekend. In minty condition for a nice price.

I had a session with my swing coach on TrackMan this evening. As I was making driver swings, my coach said, “Keep this driver forever. I have only seen one other session where the smash factor hit such heights over and over. It was with one of my long drive comp guys.” I literally was getting smash factor of 1.52 and 1.53 over and over, until my swing tired out.

Get the TSi4 and you will have a troika.
I foresee me hitting this driver very soon!
As the 2021 season comes to an end for me here in WNY, I can say that the TSi2 has been the most consistent driver I have owned to date. It’s that perfect mix of look, forgiveness, distance, reliability I have always wanted. I have gamed it now for a full year since I got my fitting, in that span of time I won my league flight, came 1st in a few tournaments this year, and shot my PB of 83. Obv. there are 13 other clubs in my bag that help, but getting off the tee and being in play helps a lot.
So last weekend I played the TSi2 with the Tensei blue R flex shaft and averaged 231, received my RDX black 6.0 shaft this week and got it out today and averaged 245. So really happy with the shaft change and the dispersion was much better/tighter today than last week.
With the RDX I feel like I can swing a bit harder and just get better results.
I have a 10° set at c/3 so +75 on the loft. Nice higher ball flight than the Epic Speed and I think a bit more carry yards.
Hopefully I can get to my home course next weekend and will have a better idea of carry yardages as I know where to hit on that course.
Really like this driver after 2 rounds.

So you are telling me that titleist and project x were a perfect marriage for you?
Shocking.
Not.
Thinking about doing some work with the TSi 1 in the short driver spot in my bag. It fits the mold a bit with a bit more spin, quick launch, etc.
Will be getting the TSi2 on the home course tomorrow so will be able to get some yardage averages again. Will be a bit cool in the 60’s but should be fun.

epic max strikes were inconsistent, mostly low, making me think that’s why the spin kicked up. tsi2 had some low spinners, like 1,600, but the flight is still very stable. not included in the data above was a particularly good swing with tsi2 that launched 13 with 2k spin and flew 262 with 100mph club speed. i liked it a lot!

We are definitely catching a cold spell here for the next ten days. Hoping the course won’t be jam packed. Have seen it way warmer on Thanksgiving weekend.
If I had any doubts about my TSi3, which I don’t, the last 2 days would eliminate all of them. Horribly windy with wet fairways and lots of elevation changes and I managed just about every shot needed with this head and shaft combo. Got a comment about it being a little crazy I can work the ball up and down and both ways with ‘driver’. But I can’t. I can do it with THIS driver, because it’s freaking awesome.
I did a fitting at Titleist a few weeks ago and the recommendation was the TSi2 with either the Tensei Blue 5S or the GD AD IX 5S. The GD was slightly better as my misses were better. I am going to order one with the GD but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My pro has the Tensei in a demo and I took out on the course today and drove the heck out of the ball today. In very windy conditions 20 mph I hit the fairway with 11/13 drivers hit and I was getting very good length with it.
I am still going to order the one with the best fit I may wait until after the new year to order though.
I spent some time in the simulator on Wednesday and I was getting 3-4 mph more ball speed with the TSi than with my Maverik.
I just had a lot of confidence with the driver today.
I had a great day with the TSi2 today and went 13/14 FIR. So accuracy is great and there is plenty of forgiveness in the head Coupe of strikes from today.
