I'm a little amazed at how many 3 irons there are in play.

Love seeing Bjorn win. Performance over paint baby!

A couple good wins there for Ping and the G20 line. Just goes to show that the G line is not just for us hackers.

Nice, Thanks JB!

Thanks for posting, JB.
Interesting to see DJ with 6* gaps in his wedges.

Winners play 5 woods onet!!

you are right. I did have one in the bag at Reunion:act-up:
Thomas Bjorn with the Razr Hawk FTW!

I could have sworn somewhere on the KBS facebook that it said DJ has started playing KBS in his wedges....guess I may have to re-send my entry the current contest...

You see all kinds of weird gaps in the pro bags. It's definitely interesting.

That's what I thought I saw as well.

From KBS' facebook

KBS Shafts
KBS Wedges win The Barclays! Congratulations to the winner. He has had an eventful year and is now 1st in the FedEx Cup!

OK I think I'm cool with my picks if KBS thinks he's playing them since its their contest lol.

Looking at it again, I'm kind of surprised that DJ plays such a high (for a pro) loft on his driver for a long hitter. I usually see the longer hitters with somewhere between a 7-8* driver.

If I remember correctly he used to use an even higher lofted driver.

There is a great video on the home page from THP working with the TaylorMade Tour Van building DJ's driver. He has played a 10.5 for as long as I remember. Bent closer to 10*.

And I know most think of tour guys using these super low loft drivers, but its really not the case anymore. With shaft technology where it is, ball flight can be moved quite well and guys can play more loft in the driver.

That's really interesting. I only said that because I know Tiger and Phil both use under 8* and they hit the ball a long way.

Thanks for the video JB. I'm going to go check it out.

I am always surprised DJ uses a driver with so much loft.

Actually Phil has been using a 9.5* RAZR Hawk Proto most of the year.

Really? I guess I should've looked somewhere more trustworthy than Wikipedia. It says as of April 26 from callawaygolf.com that he used 7.5* but that was early in the season.

I really like DJ's set up. I'm kind of surprised that he still uses r9 fairway woods, the r11's have been a pretty big hit.

I thought dj uses a 2 iron? Or was that masters only ?

I tapatalk better then I tapaputt
