Back when I lived in that Socialist turd hole during my College years I was a member of a weight lifting club. I joined up during club day b/c for $2 I got a gym membership. I got hooked. I was in there with all these Samoans and Tongans and Kiwi's and we were doing Olympic style weight lifting (snatches, clean and jerks, etc). The boys in the club used to call lifting weights "throwing kegs around the pump-house". You know kegs b/c over there it's not lbs (pounds) it's KG's (kilo's). KG's = kegs.

So Kmac and I have been talking about starting a weightlifting thread and we've been discussing titles for it. I like "Throwing Kegs Around the Pump-House". We can share our workouts and motivate each other type of thing. I've been at it for 2 weeks and I am back hooked again. My problem is that I get into it, get big, then quit and turn to fat again. I need to keep dedicated.

Smalls, i would fall asleep before my tv was "erected"
 
I just feel in a funk this week. Highs and lows of the week getting to me perhaps. I do wish at times I could just shut the "constantly thinking" portion of my brain off and just cruise along for a week or so. But no, I'm a thinker and a dweller, its what I do.
 
same here Jman....sometimes it's a good thing and other times it's a bad thing.

We don't even have a TV in the bedroom. The bedroom is only for two things, and watching TV ain't one of them.

Yep. I struggle with it when it has to do with things that are out of my hands, I've always been that way. Plus, the acclimating to only seeing the wife a couple hours a day has added to the inability to shut it off for me. Its been a crazy couple weeks in the ole Jman household.
 
Sometime soon I will be eating a combination of BBQ Ribs and hot wings. My day is about to take a turn for the better.
