Up until yesterday I have been thinking that the odds are not in my favor and it will just be a bonus if I get selected, basically so I won't be dissapointed. Then I start thinking of the awesomeness of MC 2.0 and next week I may be a competitor in the most unique and special golf event of the year, and I must say, I want this bad! It hit me like a ton of bricks laying in bed after I got home from the Seahawks game last night. I will be really dissapointed if not selected, but I am rooting for everyone who entered, because I know you are all feeling similar.

Great post buddy! I am definitely with you on wanting this opportunity badly. The flip side for me is that I had so much fun with the first MC that even if I don't get in, I know I will have a blast anyway, and being that it is in SC this time, I will be there no matter what. So maybe that will be my progression. Big supporter of TMC 1, big supporter and volunteer of TMC 2, and then Staffer for TMC 3. Only time will tell, but no matter what, it will be a fun ride.

Good post! Everyone wants to get in the Morgan Cup, and I am like you, will be pretty damn disappointed if I dont get chosen, but at the same time will be pretty stoked for the 14 that are picked to represent Team Hackers and Team Paradise. Whether being chosen to play in the Morgan Cup or not, there is more than one way to participate in everything the Morgan Cup has to offer!

Reading all the excited posts leading up to the participate selections has been great. I know this event will be a huge success. I decided not to pursue a playing spot this year since my game has required an overhaul that will take all winter (MCIII is burned in the back of my mind). My playing focus will be on the outing. But I will definitely be supportive of all the lucky players and will try my best to attend and volunteer my services.
