I want oysters. Luckily, they are plentiful down here!

I want some pasta and vodka sauce. Or a good bolognese.

Fact: I've never had oysters. Cannot bring myself to try them.

They're like sushi. Just try one, see if you like it. If not, pass them down this way

I am so craving seafood of some sort now.. ::shakeyfist::

What do you guys down in FL pay for a dozen at a good or respectable restaurant?

Seem to vary per place, but 10-12 a dozen give or take? Then there are specials... Hehe

I love gym time...

Ok, didn't know if you could get them under $10 or not. We sat in a Pappadeaux's in Houston one weekend, at their happy hour special, and had a dozen for $6. Think we went through 5 of them. Didn't get sick the next day either. LOL.

This weekend Jamesman. Little tabasco or lemon and down the hatch.

Mike, no work involved. You don't even have to chew.

my specialty

Union Oyster House in Boston is awesome. You have to go if your in the area.

So true. There is an oyster bar opening up next to Kumo over by us. They have another location downtown as well.
Which is that?

I love Pappadeaux's... or really any restaurant in Texas that starts with pappa.

They aren't bad being a chain and all. Pretty consistent.

It's romanticized for me, because I only get it once every 5-10 years.
