A couple of years ago nearly to the day, Mizuno launched their latest in the line of JPX irons, with the 921. Today, we get a look into the future with the JPX923 irons, yet we are not able to share a lot with you as of yet.
Hitting the USGA Conforming list are what you would expect, and a couple of things you probably wouldn’t have expected.
JPX923 Forged and Tour irons
JPX923 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro Irons
JPX923 Hot Metal HL
LH Forged Irons
As mentioned, it is a bit too early to bring a lot of the information, we can share that in the near future we will not only have full details, but also have these irons in the hands of THP Forum Members for full user review as well as our detailed thoughts on the technology.
Stay tuned for more coming soon on the entire line of new JPX irons. As always for the latest in availability, check out their website at www.mizunogolf.com.
No…I would have loved to split mine the same way but the Forged are not on the radar until next year and why would I go with "last years" model.
Not if it works for you and your game. I don’t care how, just how many….. hopefully it works for you
Lofts are too strong in the long irons already. The 5 iron has same loft as my Zx7 6 iron and the 4 iron has 19*
I don’t play it and weakened the 5 iron 1 degree as it launches too low and hot to be practical.

If that’s the case they’re not for you. Might be a perfect chance to combo to one that elevates even more or higher launching hybrids in the long end. Fast is good on the long stuff but if you can’t get it in the air there are other options there. A Fli-Hi bent a little weak can do magical things.

?
Ohh boy
True story. I have received all but yours so far.
The Forged are ‘fraid of you.
Yep me too…923 Hot Metal Pros are in my future…
I somehow missed this yesterday but…
My comment is they are great irons down to the 6. The longer irons have so little lost that the ball flight is too low to be practical. I weakened the 5 iron a bit and it made a difference.

That is so sexy.
These are actually kind of enjoyable to watch.

I find it interesting that Mizuno can do extra layers of things in theirs, (wedges obviously, but more and more others) and they still spin great, while everyone else lately says they need to be raw.
I’ve wondered about this. Thought I was crazy for thinking it.

I have to admit that a lot of this speaks my language. Beveled top, rounder sole – and they actually say why (the opposite of that design idea was my biggest issue with the T22 and why I didn’t love them through the turf), trail relief, copper feel. Their short irons keep getting better, but I’m still really curious what the 4 iron and overall set progression will look like.

Looks like the sole on the 923’s are a lot wider than the 921’s
Hm. I’ll look for HM & HMP 921 to compare. Pulled most though.
I have the 921HMP’s and was going to look myself Lol
First thing I thought as well, wide load….
Here’s me 921HMP 7i. The 923 still looks a little wider but to much.

Tough to get from the toe in hand.
????
Thanks buddy!! Looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say about this 923 lineup.
Love blue boxes..
The shiny chrome around the sides is an interesting move for this line.. I dig it.
They look so good.

I’m going to hit a few chippies off to the side.
I have absolutely no idea. That’s way beyond my knowledge level. I’m a see ball hit ball guy Lol. @LLIB probably knows more about my game when it comes to that kind of stuff.
That is a beautiful picture ?
