If you have been paying attention to the PGA Tour the past few weeks, then you know about the worst kept secret in putters. In the bag of Jon Rahm as well as being the number one model on Tour the past couple of weeks, the 2-Ball Ten is very real, and it’s actually part of a new Odyssey Ten lineup.
The company is running with the tagline “Shape Matters”, and they could not have nailed it more concisely or accurately if they wanted to.
When Powers Combine
First off, like it or not, the Odyssey 2-Ball is on the Mount Rushmore of putter shapes. This is a design that was the first true outside the box mallet that proved mallets could be beneficial to even the best players on the planet. From there, the floodgates opened, and it finally became OK to push the limits of putters. But how do you take that to the next level?
Well, you have it procreate with another legendary shape of course.
Enter the Odyssey Ten, which yes, is very similar in appearance to another Mount Rushmore putter shape. That said, Odyssey has perhaps perfected it, and since its addition to their arsenal, it has been a hit both in sales and on Tour. Someone who is way smarter than the rest of us at Odyssey had the thought of combining the Ten shape with the 2-Ball, and here we are.
However, it’s much more than that, in fact, the 2-Ball is but a piece of the new line of putters from Odyssey.
Odyssey Ten Lineup
What has happened here in terms of shape is a cleaner overall look, which Odyssey says has been done by things like closing the “windows” which were on the original Ten in order to make for a cleaner visual at address. The blending of the two putter shapes into one makes for what the company believes to be their most complete and effective 2-Ball variety ever.
However, it’s not just a looks thing. The melding of the designs has translated to quantifiable performance benefits as well. In fact, the new Ten putters have 32% higher MOI compared to the original 2-Ball as well as 20% less twisting at impact, 33% more speed consistency, and 44% more topspin consistency. What does it mean? When you miss center, it will be incredibly stable, predictable, and consistent.
A major reason for those last two stats was the decision to go with the Microhinge Star insert rather than the newly revived White Hot. According to Odyssey, the reason is simple, this putter line is about producing the best possible roll. The MH Star is the best pure performance insert that Odyssey has ever made, and it may not be the OG White Hot, but it is also immensely popular on Tour with its notable firmness.
As for the options, obviously there is a Ten 2-Ball which will feature the iconic circles and be available in plain, Triple Track, and also with the much asked about single Tour Line. Understanding that the circles aren’t for everyone that might benefit from the putter shape itself, they are also releasing a Ten Triple Track, and a Tenwhich has the single long alignment line.
The Details
The new Odyssey Ten line of putters will each feature the same updated Stroke Lab shaft which first released in the White Hot OG putters, simply in charcoal instead of red. Additionally, every head style will be available in S-neck or Double Bend options with a blue and grey Odyssey pistol or oversized grip. The putters will all come in at $299.99 on their release.

Nope. With UPS tracking it went from out for delivery Wed or Thurs last week to in transit with no location information.
Lots of ten putters in shops now but no slant neck in the tour-lined that I can find locally. Good news is that I have enjoyed my visits to local shops and seeing more of the golf community. Season here is just notching into gear with one course open so far and others a week or so out. I’ve also rolled numerous interesting putters in the process. Maybe this is a sign to go another way? IDK. ?
Well at least they ordered you a new one. I need to get to a shop to roll the 2-ball. Just don’t want to drive 45 minutes to do it. lol
My 2-ball ten S tour-lined was out for delivery by UPS last week and then never arrived to the course shop. They are shipping another one. Par for my equipment year so far.

It’s all good. Working with herding dogs, my best dogs were the ones who were the most challenging at the beginning. I think that is how this season will go. The golf gods and I will fight a bit and then the magic happens. 😎
I need one with the WH insert. Need.
I kinda dig the bottom of this putter too

Anyone else given these a try yet? I picked up a 2 ball triple track yesterday and admittedly as much as I don’t love the TT look it was kind of automatic 😳
I was never a fan of the 2 ball look, but saw the Triple Track 2-Ball Ten in the pro shop Sunday & have to admit it looks great. There is something very synergistic about that shape combined with 2-ball AND the triple track lines. Not in the budget this year, but I’d love to have this in the rotation

I’m waiting to hit both, but I do love the MH insert. These are still super intriguing to me even though I was fit into a different shape.

Only putter that could MAYBE get me to break my guarantee to @Canadan on Off Course about the M.Craft V being the putter this whole season would be the 2-Ball Ten with WH insert

I honestly think this is the putter that might make me move from my OG Ten, pending it goes well when I roll it. I really want the WhiteHot Microhinge insert in the 10 as it is just a tad softer than the WhiteHot Microhinge Star insert. I’m not one that likes to swap putters a lot during the season. I like to find something that works and stick with it. I honestly believe that the 2-ball 10 with the OG WH could be putter heaven.
Well hello there. This showed up out of the blue. Love the easy alignment!

I like it. I find I use both the line and the 2-ball for lining up a putt, some kind of double check. And then as I make a stroke, I see the 2-ball out of my peripheral vision. It gives me this comforting stroke feedback. So far I also like the insert. It is softer but not too soft.
I can’t decide whether or not to wait for the white hot insert or not? I also can’t make up my mind whether or not to get the short slant or double bend. I put similar with both in the shop but have been using a short slant for almost 6 years so thinking I should just stick with what I know

I called Odyssey the other day. They confirmed that the pistol grip is 75g with a 30g weight slug in the shaft and the oversized grip is 65g with a 40g weight slug. I swapped the pistol grip on my 2 ball ten with a super stoke tour traxion 2.0 (55g) and a 50 g counter core weight. All good!
are the weights in the butt end of the shaft the same for different lengths?
I tried the TT Ten, TT2Ball Ten and Tour Line 2Ball Ten. The 2Ball versions were easier to line up. It is a great looking head.
Got the Ten with the old school white hot insert all setup to my preferred length and grip. Ohh, this thing is money 😎
2-ball ten tour lined is amazing! I was able to walk the back 9 twice on my home course. Seven of the nine holes were playable. Slow greens, often a nemesis. I hit my lines and had very good distance control. Short putts were stress free. This putter is a winner. I was thinking about changing out the grip from the stock pistol, but when I can putt like that I am not going to change anything.
How’d you manage to get one…if you don’t mind me asking? It looks fantastic.

I found it on another forum’s classifieds. Seller said they got it from a Callaway employee who swapped out the inserts.
Just ordered the 2-ball Ten tour lined, to replace last years triple track Ten… Went back to Pro V1’s this year and I find the triple track distracting now that it’s not on my ball.
I had another great round with the single line Ten. My putting stroke was off early in the round and i was catching the ball out toward the toe yet was still hitting my intended lines.

I tried them both. Liked the Ten better and rolled it more consistently.
I am convinced the Ten is one of the most stable putters I have gamed in some time. I still have issues with my stroke that causes me to leave the face open at impact sometimes but yesterdays round proved to me getting I’m getting more comfortable with the Ten. I am really enjoying the feeling off the face and using a line on the ball whether its drawn or triple track shows me what I love to see which is the ball rolling end over end.
Yesterday’s round I had 33 putts, not spectacular by any means but whats most important was no 3 putts and I had one 40 foot bomb that dropped for my only birdie of the day. For some reason with longer putts my speed and distance control seems to be really good. Goal is to get under 30 putts for a round!

do you think that has any cause on your keeping the face open? Or simply just the spring season stroke?

the more I use this putter the more I like it. Made at least 4-6 comeback putts today to save par. I wish I could get it on some faster greens but it’s April in Michigan and I’m playing golf so I won’t complain.
Alignment is so good too that I’m starting to think I’m putting better without a line on the ball too and just picking a spot ?

I really love the Bird of Prey and it’s my current gamer – I personally don’t believe the new Ten is significantly better.
That said, if I was in the market for a new putter, the new Ten with single line alignment would be my purchase – it just rolls so darn well.
I cannot wait to get my 2ball ten in hand! It is going to be a long wait lol
Was really looking forward to the two ball ten, but I checked my status and it showed back-ordered until the end of July. Frustrating since I ordered the first day of pre-order. Confirmed that with the Callawaygolf.com representative. ‘Heads are back-ordered until mid-summer.’ Went ahead and cancelled, so frustrating that a company would have a product launch with no product.

Did you ever get a 2 ball ten? Haggin Oaks has a bunch in stock.
On another note…..I caved and bought a tour lined 2 ball ten today. Took it on the course and I really like what I’m seeing with this putter!
I am putting remarkably well, for me, with the 2-ball ten tour lined S w/ stroke lab shaft. I put a Flat Cat Solution grip on that might not stay, but the results so far are positive. I kept the weight in with the shaft and the heavier grip does lighten the feel of the head. Regardless, alignment and keeping the stroke on that line are crazy easy with this putter.
I love my OG TTTen. Probably ride it through this year, but it may eventually get replaced with the Two-Ball, TTTen S. Just looks so good.
Can these be had in a counterbalanced version. If not which would feel closest to a counterbalanced putter like a daddy long legs?

I did. I actually went to Haggin Oaks on the launch day and they had the tour lined 2 ball ten in stock. It’s been money for me the last few weeks. Lines up easier than any putter that I’ve had in the past. Thanks for the follow up, much appreciated!
