At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the wonderful forum members and we have another new testing project. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing.

We will not tell people what the driver brand is yet, but I can tell you it was at the 2011 THP Demo Day and it was getting a lot of great buzz.

Criteria
You must be able to play golf (either on course or driving range).
8 forum members will be chosen to be part of this testing.
RH only at this time.
You may be responsible for the driver shipping charges

Testing Process
If selected it will be your job to test the driver out frequently (minimum of once per week) and update the official testing thread with feedback on your findings. You will also be asked to update Facebook and Twitter with your findings as well. This is long term testing and will need updates for a period of a couple of months. At the end of the testing, the driver will be yours to keep.

To participate you must be an active forum member or become an active forum member. Being active on THP has its benefits and product testing is one of them (monthly testing like this). If you are new, that is okay, being active is more than just tenure.

Bonus
Each golfer selected to be a part of this testing will have personal access to the club maker responsible for making these clubs. He will be there to assist you throughout the testing and will make for a wonderful addition to the process.

This is not a contest, so there really are no rules. All we ask is that you make a post in this thread and answer these questions. Please have an answer to all questions rather than things like "any".

Keep in mind if you are not chosen for this, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future here at THP for testing and other product trials. Stay active and you will have a chance to be part of these awesome testings we do here.

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? Slight fade turns into slice.
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? 9.5

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? Consistency. Some days my misses are left and some days they are right.

Thanks THP for this opportunity. As someone who was at the Demo Day there were a lot of fantastic drivers out there (and one in particular that I loved!). I am excited to see which one will be being reviewed!
 
I'm really curious what driver this could be...I remember reading something about Yonex a bit ago?

I love Drivers!!!!!!! I hit so many good ones at demo day, I have a few on my list I'd love to hit long term. A couple immediately come to mind. Thank you so much THP and mystery company :)

1. What driver do you currently play? Cleveland TL 310 / Taylormade R11
2. What is your driver swing speed? 108-109
3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? The Snap Hook or Hook!!! Any kind of hook really.
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? 10.5
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)? I like a mid or high launch to my driver. It just depends really. I like the extra carry.
 
When will this testing start? I am going to be out of town for most the of the month of June and July. I just want to make sure I can do my weekly post.
 
Gotta give some love to THP and Company to be named later... So amazing that opportunities like these are made available to us THPers.

Good luck to all on this, let me say first hand that testing for THP to give the members and the companies legit feedback is an absolute blast! I cannot wait to see who it is!

1. What driver do you currently play? - TM Supertri with the Aldila Voodoo VS6

3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? - Workability. I'm fairly confident in the straight ball (well straight enough), but the shots I'm working left or right will sometimes move too much. Working on better controlling the amount of movement on my fades and draws.
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? - 9.5ish.....depends on the setup though. For some reason, needed a higher loft on the Cleveland drivers with the C.Kua so I expect this number to change a little depending on how it comes together.
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)? - mid.

2. What is your driver swing speed? 101 -110 depending on how the back feels
3. What is your biggest weakness off the tee? High right block from sliding throught the hitting instead of turning
4. What loft do you prefer in your driver? 9.5 to 10.5...I have have Played 10.5* for years
5. What is your launch (low, mid, high)? Mid to High on average. Hit high down wind and cross wind and mid ball flight into the wind.
