I just got passed up on for a job because I didn't fit the "employee profile" that the company was looking for. When I asked what they meant their response was, "we're looking for somebody with less ambition". Did I really just hear that? 'MERICA, I guess!!!

That means they all would like to keep their own jobs and don't need someone like you coming in and gunning to excel (and take them away).

Ellie came up lame on her leg last night and still wont put any pressure on it today. She just had ACL surgery on the other leg a few months back and now this one. She is going to the vet at 3pm today to hopefully get some info. Not sure she can have the surgery because of her heart condition, so it's a tough spot to be in.

We should know more in a few hours, but not the best timing for obvious reasons.

At vet with her now. Poor thing is not happy.

Thanks guys. Another torn Acl and with her heart condition surgery may not be an option. Going to have to see a specialist soon.
 
Been a tough road physically and emotionally for Ellie...all the best to her.

Almost one year ago today she tore the other one. Been a long dog year for us at home but she is a trooper and will get through this too.

It's a pet peeve when people performing the national anthem don't know, or sings the wrong words.
Also, it's a solemn song, don't dress it up or put a dramatic touch to it.

Sing the damn song with respect!

It irks me to no end...I like it to be simple and done right.
