At THP, we believe that testing should be done not only by us, but also by the golfers just like you. One of the cool features about being an active member of the THP Forum is that we look to you guys/gals, the consumers, to give feedback on equipment to golfers all around the world. Each month we send out iron sets, drivers, hybrids, putters, trainings aids and golf balls to our active members to be a part of the THP Forum Member testing. Who wants to test the brand new Rapsodo MLM2PRO Personal Launch Monitor?
Rapsodo MLM2PRO
Earlier this year, Rapsodo released the MLM2PRO personal launch monitor and if you missed our preview breaking it all down, that can be found here. There is also a forum thread with tons of thoughts from golfers and this will be where your reviews go if selected to be one of our testers. You can find that here.
Criteria
We will select a group of Five THPers to test the Rapsodo MLM2PRO Personal Launch Monitor.
You must be able to check in on the forum thread daily (or close to it) to discuss and answer questions.
You will need to have space in your home/garage for this to function for the purpose of these reviews. You will be reviewing the Rapsodo MLM2PRO for 90 days and then it is yours to keep.
How to Signup
Comment below and answer these 3 questions.
1. Do you currently own a launch montior?
2. Where will this go in your home (garage, spare room, etc)?
3. What features from the article linked above stand out?
We will announce the testers next week on the THP Forum. If you want to learn more about the Rapsodo MLM2PRO or any of their products, check out their website at www.rapsodo.com.
Wish I could but injuries have held me back from playing golf at all. Great opportunity for 5 lucky THP’rs. Good luck to all.
1. Yes, I have 3. An About Golf Simulator purchased in 2006; the original mobile Rapsodo in 2020 (given to my son because I use Android and they never produced Android software as promised); and a Garmim R10 (which I purchased because Rapsodo didn’t live up to their promise of Android for the Rapsodo), which is set up in my garage.
2. In the garage next to my R10, I would like to compare the two. Just last week, I spoke to my son about selling his Rapsodo to get the new MLM. But he bought an R10 for home use and is keeping the Mobile Rapsodo to use on the range and traveling.
3. I’ve done heavy research on the MLM, and what I like is the video capability. What stood out in the article? I didn’t know you did testing and let people keep the equipment. Between my simulator and launch monitors, I’ve got $43,000 invested and would love to get a free one! And feel I could give great feedback. Cheers, Jim
1. No I don’t, but I do own an optishot (not a true launch monitor).
2. I have a space in the backyard with a net, where I could use it.
3. Really most interested in the launch angle data that it could provide.
1. Yes I have mevo.
2. My garage is my play area. It goes there
3. Was looking to upgrade to mevo+ or alternative. Found this article
Have used a SwingCaddie before, the Rapsidi would go in my garage practice room and I am retired so I can logon whenever I like.
1) I do not own a launch monitor but I’ve been thinking of getting one for the house recently
2) I would put the monitor in my garage since we have tall ceilings and a lot of room to move around
3) I love how compact this monitor is and for importantly the price! $350 for a monitor you can take anywhere is really something special.
1. I do not own a launch monitor, I am looking to get one to create my own simulator/launch monitor room.
2. This would go into a room i am moving into for my freshman year of college and would really help since i gotta spend a lot of money for school and all that.
3. Some things that stood out in the article to me were that you guys seem like you take care of your people very well and make sure they got everything they need and I would love to be apart of of the MLM testing!

I have a SC200+ that I use in the garage. I’d very much love the simulator features and additional spin information provided by this unit. I’d love to test it.
1. Do you currently own a launch montior?
No, but have been looking to get one soon
2. Where will this go in your home (garage, spare room, etc)?
This will go into my spare room that has 10′ ceilings and plenty of space.
3. What features from the article linked above stand out?
The high quality visual capture along with the ability to gather spin data are game-changers. Also as an Android phone user, I’m excited get something that is designed out of the box to work in that ecosystem.
I don’t have the infrastructure for this but I’m super excited to see how it goes.
1..no don’t own any type of simulation atm
2. Would be placing this in my garage..as I have plenty of space there for a setup
3. Looking forward to the video option as well as being able to.check my ball speed ..swing speed..etc
1. Do not currently have a launch monitor, but would like one.
2. Currently have a net set up in my garage so I can practice all year.
3. Like that you are looking for feedback from a range of people. Could provide progress info from a hacker to improved golfer.
1) No, have experience with the SkyTrak from our office.
2) Have a net setup in my backyard for practice. Will move it to the basement for the winter months
3) As I’m just starting to really pick up golf this year, I’ve been trying to figure out all the nuances of the clubs/shots and I really like the video playback feature. While I often think I’m doing what I should in my swing with adjustments, my ball flight doesn’t always match up. This monitor would definitely help with that so I could understand better what happened.
I currently have the original rapsodo mlm. It is great but the ability to get spin, impact angle, and a number of other data points would be amazing. My initial plan is to use this on the range to see ball flight with the data. Then when winter hits, move inside with this launch monitor to continue to refine and improve my game through the cold season. The opportunity to test and compare with both my current monitor along with my professional coach’s trackman would be amazing.
Great opportunity here ladies and gentlemen. However, I do not have the space for it but looking forward to the reviews.
Thanks for the opportunity!
1. Yes, I currently use the Garmin R10
2. I would do my testing in my garage where I have my current setup. I also take my R10 to the range so that would be another opportunity for comparisons.
3
A. I’m interesting in the additional data available from the MLM2PRO’s camera versus the R10’s radar
B. Looking forward to using Shot Vision with onboard camera versus using my iPhone on a tripod. (Ease of use, set up, accessing swing videos, correlation with swing data, etc.)
C. How well the device interfaces with E6 connect
Thanks again!
Garmin R10
Garage
Getting a chance to test a new product
. Do you currently own a launch montior?
No I do not. Too expensive haven’t pulled the trigger
2. Where will this go in your home (garage, spare room, etc)?
Garage set up
3. What features from the article linked above stand out?
How compact the rapsodo is making it possible to travel. That they are teaming up with Callaway a product and name, I own and trust to upgrade the information and data for improvements
Debated signing up for this, but why not.
1. Do you currently own a launch montior? No. I have owned a Rapsodo MLM in the past, but it didn’t give me consistent numbers indoors, so I sold it.
2. Where will this go in your home (garage, spare room, etc)? My friend, league golf buddy has a machine shed where I currently have my hitting mat and a hitting net. It’s away from all his equipment and our Wednesday night golf league team uses this during the winter months to try and stay as sharp as we can. This is where I set up the MLM. I have 24/7 access to this shed.
3. What features from the article linked above stand out? The notes about adding additional devices to this for down the line and face on views is really intriguing to me. I feel like that could really help someone fighting a swing flaw that they can’t figure out and I seem to have a lot of those from time to time. Also very interested to see if they’ve improved upon the spin numbers I saw with the MLM.
Again – thanks for the opportunity and good luck to everyone entered!
1. No but someone in my neighborhood does and they love it would like to say the same
2. It would go in my garage or in the basement
3. It was the linked video of the products breakdown and how it works super easy to understand and entertaining
1) I do not have a launch monitor/simulator currently. I have used the Skytrak many times and the Trackman. I would love to give an honest opinion of this one and how I feel it compares to the others I have used.
2) I have a garage space that I can use to hit with this.
3) the thing I like the most about this is the opportunity to give honest feedback about a product that I’m not “endorsed” by. I can provide my likes and dislikes and help other golfers similar to myself make an educated decision about purchasing it.
1.not sure if you consider the SC200 a true launch monitor but I use that when I’m on the range.
2. I plan on using it on my car port with my net and IPad.
3. I like the idea of answering questions daily for anyone that has questions about the product. I’m currently not working so I have a ton of time on my hands lol.

1. Yes, Garmin R10
2. In spare room with golf simulator screen
3. The ability to connect an additional device to the app and record both face-on and down-the-line views of the swing.
I have been looking at getting a home launch monitor, either Garmin or a Skytrak. My preferred location is in my garage/barn where a simulator could be left setup (10’ ceilings, up to 36’ of depth). I’d be happy to share my experience, answer questions, and learn from the group.
1. I have an ESB1 that I use at home and a close friend with a Trackman so I could compare against both.
2. I would be hitting outdoors into a net here. I would also use at a friend’s house who had an indoor setup with a Trackman.
3. The ESB1 is priced comparably and the functionally of the Rapsodo is incredible at that price point.
A lot of activity and entries in here which I absolutely enjoy seeing. I do see a lot of entires from guests that have a few posts, hey we are all new at some point. My question to you would be these reviewing opportunities require those selected to be present on a daily basis to provide feedback and answer questions.
How would you change your activity level if selected?
1. No, but I just built a hitting area and this would be the next step.
2. Outdoor area with artificial turf, hitting into a net.
3. I want to get real time feed back to work on my game and drill are great and all. But when hitting into a net, I want to see my launch angle, speed, shot sharp and so on.

That’s cute, yet so accurate.
Afraid 95% of those entries won’t even see this. Bump it and non-guests need to enter this.
I would really like to see the camera’s in action for swings.
Then maybe again, I dont?.
1) I don’t currently own a launch monitor.
2) I would mainly want to use this on the range at my club. I don’t have space in my own home but my parents’ house is a short drive and the garage is a perfect place for a mat and net. My club also has an indoor simulator room where I could use it regularly.
3) As someone who has been really focused on improving my game, I love that this combines the ability to take it everywhere and still get accurate numbers.
As a side note, I would be available most nights (if not every) to get on the forum and answer questions.
This is an awesome opportunity, whoever is selected is very lucky!
1. No
2. I would use both at the range and in my garage.
3. I would like to be able to practice more with feedback as to where my shots are going to improve my game. I like the portability of the product to use both on the range and in house.
1. Dear Rapsodo, I do not have a launch monitor(Yet!) I have been transitioning my garage into my golf practice area over the last year and this is the final piece of the puzzle. I’ve been looking at all manner of launch monitors and simulators for some time, and as soon as I saw Rapsodo’s new version I became very interested due to the price point and great features. Not to mention it’s a very nice looking unit.
2. I practice my swing and putting in the garage every night for about 2 hours after my wife and kids go to bed. With a family and job it’s the only way I can keep my game sharp. I’ve been grinding to get my game back to where it was in my younger days. I would be using it mostly in my garage where I have a net and tv set up that would adapt very easily to a launch monitor. I video my swing on the range often as well and would love to learn how a launch monitor adds to my swing analysis. I’ve been dying to have a monitor and simulator in the garage to take my game to the next level.
3. I am most excited about the online range and simulator with the membership being $200 per year. This is a fantastic price point where I think some of the other company’s memberships fees are quite exorbitant. This is one of the main reasons I have yet to purchase a monitor. To be able to play a round of golf in my garage (while my kids are asleep!) and get accurate data about my swing and ball flight using the dual cameras and chevron pattern balls would be an absolute joy for my golf obsessed brain and a boon for my swing development.
I really think at this price point and with the features, specifically the simulator play, offered within the MLM2Pro that rapsodo is going to uncork a huge untapped market. I would love to be able to contribute to this by reviewing and offering daily feedback. Thank you for the opportunity!
1. I have never owned a launch monitor before, I have been lucky enough to have a friend that has one come to the range to try use occasionally.
2. This will be used outdoors paired with a net to try and save money going to the range all the time.
3. What stood out in the article is the accuracy of the readings and being able to get that information from this price point. I have never truly been able to get those accurate of readings. Being able to see video playback of my swing and also the impact will truly help to address my game better instead of guessing what I’m doing wrong.
Would love to test this but I only have room on my back patio and it’s honestly not the best for practice. I do have an R10 that I take to the range once a week.

I mean, if anybody wants to see bi-weekly footage of my attempts to fix my swing for 3 months, consider me entered.
As to the original question, things like this do push people to post more and become more involved I think. At least, I find that to be true for me personally, but I’m one of those types that falls headfirst once finding new things (such as this forum).

Was trying to explain it was my swing I didn’t want to see.

Would enjoy the activity and feedback to the testing. In no way was it meant to hender signing up for anyone, guest or not. Matt was also genuinely curious as to how applicant’s would improve activity if selected. Nobody has to wait to be picked to increase activity, but it does get the energy flowing faster as you said.
Forgive me if the post felt directed at any one individual or status. It wasn’t my intention. This one is at a high level of interest and that is great! Look forward to your thoughts if selected or in other threads.

Nor was mine…just interested to see how people would engage the forum…I am still searching for which LM I am going with.
Not to mention I think a forum testing 10 years ago had me dive in really deep here on THP…here I am 10 years later.

Oh for sure. I definitely took no offense. Just offering up my thought on the matter. As one might do if selected…..
No launch monitors in my life currently. ?
I’d love trying this out in my garage, though. ?
The nice thing to learn about THPgolf is that they put these types of devices and other golf trading aids, as well as clubs in the hands of golfers like you and I that give honest reviews we can relate with.
Thanks guys!
I own a original Mevo flight scope currently in a garage set up but i am transitioning to a larger 13×20 simulator space, walled 10 feet from screen with additional 10 feet behind tee box for more accurate flight tracking. The Doppler technology and features in the article that has me interested since i was currently considering Garmin R10. Im also considering starting a youtube channel to document my set up as a “how to guide” for a Custom DIY simulator space set-up.

1. I don’t currently have launch monitor, but I do have OptiShot.
2. I will setup launch monitor in one of my smaller bedrooms.
3. I need to see all angles. Basically, simply, I need to see where the ball will go.
1. I don’t own a launch monitor.
2. I have a nice net and mat set up on the side of my house, ready for a new launch set up!
3. Really interested in the dual camera system. Also how well it works for us lefties!:)

As one of those new members that entered, I did think about this. I think the opportunity invites participation that wouldn’t have otherwise been visible.
I’ve been an unregistered lurker for some time; just didn’t think I had a lot to add to the conversations per se. But now, having registered, here I am admitting to the world that I putt with my glove on…
To answer the question, I for sure would take the responsibility of providing the feedback and answering any questions seriously. Like someone alluded to above, that would include the good, the bad, and the ugly. 🙂
Best,
E
I do not currently own a launch monitor. I have been researching them and currently setting up my garage. I love that you want to hear from us the customers that are new to launch monitors or little experience. I believe this will give a true perspective in setting up and operating the launch monitor.

This great and appreciate the response. I was in the same boat years ago when I put in for a review opportunity. Good luck!!!
