Bridgestone wants to hear from YOU! The company that looks to consumers for feedback more than any other in creating golf balls, wants THP Members to try out the new line and report back with your thoughts on the ball.

THP wants to send testers some of the soon to be released YELLOW B330-RX golf balls and have them put them to the test and report back on the forum their findings. You will get to try the ball about a month before it even hits stores!

General Info
Starting next week, THP will send out the new ball PRIOR TO RELEASE to dozens of golfers and their job will be to report back their findings on what they like and dislike (if anything) about the golf ball.

King of Fitting
Being that this is being done by the KING of Ball Fitting, we want to make sure that we find the right ball for the people doing the testing. If you are not sure if the B330-RX is right for you, click on the yellow banner above this and chat with the B-Fit specialist to find out what ball would work best. To simplify it even more, THP has a box on the home page that you click and go through an online fitting right on the site.

Rules
There are, however, certain criteria that must be followed to be eligible to receive a the new Bridgestone balls. So if you are not able to do so, next testing might workout better.

1. You must be able to give these a test drive on the course within 5 days of receiving the golf balls.

2. You must put together a write up with your thoughts on the Bridgestone balls you receive within a day of testing them.

3. Please provide honest feedback as quickly as possible.

Your Entry
To request a sleeve of the Bridgestone golf balls please respond in this thread with the information requested below. Failure to include ALL info will result in entry not being counted.

1. City & State you will be playing in
2. Your handicap index
3. Your swing speed
4. Your current golf ball
5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall

Please keep in mind we will be looking for people on different types of grass, different handicaps, etc...

We will notify people in this thread if they have been chosen to be a tester for THP & Bridgestone Golf and the new lines coming out very soon.

Well, I'm a diehard Bridgestone fan and I have been fit for the RX via the B-Fit program but I just don't believe I'll ever play golf with a yellow golf ball. It's just not my fortay.

I think it's great that Bridgestone partners up with THP for this type of testing and I hope that some get converted to Bridgestone via this testing.

Thanks for the opportunity and good luck to the testers.

Another awesome opportunity!! Thanks Bridgestone and THP!!

I have a couple questions:
1.
1. You must be able to give these a test drive on the course within 5 days of receiving the golf balls.

Does this mean that they must be hit on course or will simulator/ranges suffice?

2.
1. City & State you will be playing in

Does this mean it is open to US residents only?

Thanks!

5: I've never played a yellow ball as I always viewed them as "cheesey" but now they seen kind of cool I'll have to convince my playing partners though.

5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall: I absolutely love them. The E6 in yellow/orange along with the Z Star Yellow are my favorite to play. Easy to find and easy to look at when I tee them up. I don't know what it is but I seem to hit them better. I was fit to an RX from a live bstone rep awhile back. I liked them a lot at the outing. I have a sleeve left from the 1st version of the RX.

No it is not just open to US residents and we are open to simulators. In the place of city and state, just use city if that is easier.

I hate having 8" of snow on the ground. :banghead:

1. City & State you will be playing in: Atlanta, GA
2. Your handicap index: 20
3. Your swing speed: Driver- 105
4. Your current golf ball: Varies, but Mostly Bridgestone e6
5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall: I like the idea of Yellow Golf Balls. I've played the e6 yellow and notice that I could find balls a little easier than the other people I was playing with. I could also track them through the air better. I still am warming up to the idea, but would love to test the B-330RX Yellow

You said what I was thinking.

Hope some people find a new ball, the RX is an awesome ball. Looking forward to reading what you testers find out. Good luck!

5. They look a bit off, but I certainly see the benefits of using one. I'd like to see how much better it shows up against glare on early morning wet leaves out here. Sometimes it's almost impossible to distinguish the white ball in there.

5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall

Recently warmed up to them starting with the e6, I currently use another yellow ball for night golf about once a week, however it has several faults to me so an RX would be better for me. Playing in Florida a yellow ball is a plus considering the rough is thick and how the ball settles down, yellow is much more visible imo.

5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall?

I would personally prefer all of my balls to be yellow. They very easy to see in the fairway which is a trememdous help being a senior golfer. I like playing with my yellow balls because most of the guys in my foursome play with their white balls. No problem when we all head off the tee fighting over whose balls are where.

I want to add to this put city and Country then.

5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall

I absolutely love the Yellow color of the E6. My only wish is that it performed closer to that of the E5. I really feel like I'm giving up a lot with the E6.

Anothr great opportunity and offering from Bridgestone. I like tc am going to pass on this cause I am already set on the yellow e6 and have no desire to change at all. Best of luck to everyone who is signing up and I look forward to hearing about how this ball worked for the testers.

good luck to all the testers, and thanks to Bridgestone for the opportunity.

5. I'm a big fan of yellow balls, especially the Z-Star's. Being able to track the ball down the course gives me some confidence and feedback to my play.

Oh mother nature, you terrible terrible being.
I hate having 8" of snow on the ground. :banghead:

I feel your pain there ratfink it is snowing right now so the chances of me getting to give these a whirl are about slim to none :curse:  The RX is a great ball and I hope the testes have alot of fun with it and I am looking forward to reading the reviews. Thanks to Bridgestone and THP for a chance to review more great stuff.

1. City & State you will be playing in: Southern NJ, Philadelphia, PA (simulators and on course weather permitting)
2. Your handicap index: 8.7
3. Your swing speed: Driver 115+
4. Your current golf ball: Srixon Z Star X Yellow, TM Penta TP, B330
5. What are your thoughts on yellow balls overall: I love the yellow for the visibility on course. I don't always hit them straight and I love how much easier they are to find in the rough and leaves. Having a tour quality yellow ball is a pretty big determiner for me in choosing a ball.
