played yesterday and played better. 40-41=81 with no birdies. i missed a lot of putts that should have dropped but thats golf. im pleased with how ive been hitting the ball i just need to eliminate stupid mental errors that snowball from bad to worse

41/44 85 yesterday. I really felt like I was swinging the clubs well, solid all around game, just struggled on a few shots out of the thicker rough and just didn't get a lot of breaks. The back nine was slow as hell and really put our game off the tracks, but good friends and good beer, so it was a blast.

In the wind conditions I got to be happy the ground was sodden from the weekends heavy rain so in all very happy.

85(41-44) on Saturday. Had three blow up holes on the back(2 doubles and a triple). The triple was more bad luck and the doubles were from being lazy. I hit a lot of really good putts but couldn't get them to fall. Burned the edge and lipped out on 6 or so holes.

Thanks Cookie. I was over a putt and getting ready to hit when the wind blew and my hat started to come off, instinct was to grab my hat and when I did I hit the ball about 2 inches

First time to play the course and it was in a 3 club wind. Finished 3rd in my flight though:banana:
I was very happy with my drives. Only really messed up on two, one was left and one was right. The other one was on a 243yd par 4 and I was over with my 5W. Landed on the green but did not hold.

Shot 90 yesterday. Greens were freshly aerated and hard as hell. Had a great day driving the ball but only 6 GIR's because I couldn't get the ball to stick on the greens with my second shot and putting was an adventure. Had one hole where my putt was curving left, right into the cup, hits an aeration hole on the edge, and makes a jump right and misses.
Fairways were hard and rolling fast as well. Was getting a good 30-40 yard roll out. My driving avg. is normally 250-260 and I was getting 280 avg. yesterday.

I had a bittersweet 95 two days ago. With it was a fantastic start going 2 over after 4 holes, but then my power fade sent me to enjoy some long walks in the woods. After a few holes of this I spent time trying a few things out and ended up hitting 4 out of the last 5 fairways. I ended the round playing ok, but the middle still had me a bit miffed.

The best part was hitting my longest drive of the year in the fair way. A nice 278 according to my gps which I have not had in 2 years. I also started playing the par 5s by hitting shot number 2 to about 120 yards out instead of getting as close as possible in 2. I ended up 2 over on the par 5's.

Sadly, my second snowman appeared that day, too.

Shot 77 and that was the worst I could have scored, had at least 10 realistically makeable birdie putts from inside 10 - 12 feet and missed most of them, missed two putts for eagle from inside 10 feet and had a short chip from just off the green lip out. Was at 1 over though after 14 holes and then proceeded to stink the rest of the way finishing with 4 bogeys, one of those was a 3 putt off of a makeable birdie putt first attempt. My putting is better but still costing me too many shots.

Shot a 94 today. Terrible front nine with a 54 which was basically the worst that I've ever shot for 9 holes on the course and a 40 on the back nine which was my best 9 holes. Weird round

I probably shot at least a 55 on the front side. I just couldn't get anything to work. My draw was either staying out to the right or hooking way too hard left, my irons were all leaking to the right, and my short game was shank city. Once I started hitting a few bad shots I just got down in that rut and couldn't get out of it.

Thanks. The hole on the bottom of the picture is a replica of Muirfield and the two at the top are St Andrews 1 and 18.

Shot an anemic 46/44 90 today. Had a case of the chunks that I just couldn't get rid of.

Edit: I better get my act together because I have my first ever golf league starting up on thursday.

Just got home from a scramble tourny held at Rock Barn. Early start as I had to wake up at 5am but totally worth it. We got to play the RTJ course, where the Champions Tour plays so that's always nice. My little team shot a 59 so that's awesome. I hit the ball well today. Lots of big drives with the Classic.

I had my worst 18 holes in about 5 years. I shot an 84 with a 47 on the front and 37 on the back. Way too many three putts (aerated greens that changed speed from green to green) and my driver just disappeared. I wish I could figure out how to post my scorecard from Golfshot on here. I will have to play around a little and see what I can do.

Hopefully that works.

An interesting round for sure. Front nine I had five pars but if it wasn't a par it wasn't pretty! I had two triples and two doubles for a 47. On the back I only had two pars but shot a 44. My swing is getting better and I am gaining some confidence back but I just cannot score.

Played 4 holes alternate shot and 4 holes best ball with my friend for a total of 38 (+3) on the 9. Not bad. Individually, I was +1 for the 5 holes of best ball which is awesome.
