I stumbled across this site last week and now I seem to be checking new posts all the time. I have been golfing occasionally until about two years ago when my wife got me a private golf membership for father's day. At the time we were about 20 minutes from one of the courses. But since moving this past July, we are now three minutes from the clubhouse, and I at least am able to hit balls on the range three or four days a week. Hopefully this will be the year to get to that single digit handicap.
