This is a loaded field with Tiger, Phil, and the gang all back in action. Who do you like, who do you think will choke, and who is your darkhorse?



And for those paying attention, we have a HUGE contest coming up for TPC
 
After this, will Tiger be done, or does he have plans for more tourneys?

Choker is Anthony Kim.

Dark horse is Ricky Fowler.

Oh I am soooo winning the TPC contest...I have home field advantage!

Anyways, I don't keep up much with nonmajors but if Kim is in the field I like him to win. Always a possibility Tiger could win aswell.

And my concept of choking in golf is doing terrible and blowing a 3-day lead...not doing poor when people expect you to do well (so if Phil does poorly, IMO, he's not choking)...therefore I don't see anyone choking.

Dark Horse? Hmmm...Choi?

I'm kind of scared to make predictions anymore. :act-up:

But, heck, I'll do it anyway.

Winner: Tiger by 2 strokes
Disappointer: J.B. Holmes
Dark horse: S. O'Hair
 
i can't wait for this tournament. no offense to the zurich classic but it was a wee bit lacking in the star department for me. my predictions:

winner: phil
choker: tiger
darkhorse: lee westwood (god, i was kidding). i like sean o'hair.

Choker: No one, They play well, Tiger just beats them.
Dark Horse: Kuchar. (IMO people who played on the ryder cup teams arent dark horses)

so now people who played on the ryder cup can't be dark horse picks and anyone in the top 25 can't be dark horse picks? it would be cool to have some explanation why as opposed to coming off like your opinion is the right one. i'm just sayin'

Dont sweat it. In my opinion a top 10 golfer cannot be a darkhorse pick. Outside of that, you are good to go. Maybe even top 15 depending on the field.

Many appear to be getting ready for TPC. This is usually a great field each year.

A lot of people pickin my man Sean O'Hair to repeat. Is that a darkhorse pick? (he hasn't been playing well I guess). Ok here goes...

Disappointment: Phil Mickelson(Lefty is up there on the leaderboard but melts during the weekend.)
Darkhorse: Rory Sabbatini(I know, I know) Been a struggle this year but it is only a matter of time.

I like Anthony Kim, Phil Mickelson to choke and Stewart Cink is my dark horse

FTC: Freddy Couples (Don't want that, but I can feel a disappointment)
DH: My boy Stewart Cink. He has not done very well this year, but I feel a strong finish for him.

Choke: Yoccos1981 for not picking the winner...
DH: Rory Mcllroy..... changed from Vijay... read the first page all the way through :) Just thought cause Vijay has been injured might not be a favorite.
