They were waiting to see if the league would discipline him at all for the domestic violence charge. If they suspended him, the Browns would save about $2mill in bonus money. Word was the league wasn't going to act any time soon so the Browns stopped waiting and cut him

Some people are crazy. These teams are two different levels. OSU would get crushed by the bigger Browns. Yes I know the Browns suck @$$, but that's like saying a top HS team could beat a DII or DIII college team. It just isn't going to happen.
