I wanted to wait until age 65 (for medicare to kick in) to get this done but that's not possible. I'm tired of hurting and complaining and decided to go ahead and make it happen. I have an appointment this Friday at 12:30 with an orthopedic surgeon. I'm excited I was able to get in this quick as it usually takes weeks to book an appointment with a specialist. This doctor comes highly recommended. The great thing is, I just happen to have someone in our family who knows him personally. My step son plays golf with him once a week :thumb:

Wife left me a note saying she bought me a tee-time at the local course today. If THAT isn't awesome, nothing is.

PLUS, she's letting me go hang out with my DFW buddies all weekend. She's incredible.

The last time I had my right knee looked/fixed at, I was told it was as good as it was going to get. The next is going to be titanium or whatever they make them out of these days.

Good luck and follow the therapy. I didn't and pay for it pretty regular.

Matt they got one (titanium knee joint) out now that lasts 30 years. That will take me to age 93 before I need a new part/tune up :D

Today I have been married for 3 years....to the same woman!! She is truly incredible and im not sure where I would be today without her. She put up with me and all my crazy shenanigans along with my love for all things golf and THP!

She is even letting me play golf with Cookie today after work!!!!

Booked a tee time to play with the FIL and Erica's grandpa. Two of my favorite people to play with. Just finally was able to beat the old man late last year. He's always got a good round in him. Have to drive a couple hours to meet them, but very much looking forward to it.
