Shot 82 at Bear Trace at Cumberland Mtn. (par 72) was 2 over on the front but struggled on the back. Was beautiful outside today in TN almost 60 and sunny.

It was another good weather day but the course is still wet and we are supposed to get more rain tomorrow. Drove it good, hit lots of greens, 35 putts and missed a lot of easy putts. 37 39 76

Not too bad my first full round since early october.

Need to get back to being used to walking the full 18

played 2 holes at 8 over then my cart died so i had to get it towed back to the clubhouse... musta been a sign so i quit and went to work
then a buddy shows up and wants to play 9 but all my gear is put away and all i had was a demo 6i
decided to screw around and play 6i golf... shot bogey golf
woulda been better but its difficult putting with a 6i lol

Shot 74 (37-37) today with 4 birdies, too many bogey's.

Played 5 holes today, 3 pars & two bogeys. 2 putted 4 of 5 holes. Muni course, it was like putting on a fairway.

82. 38-43.

Kind of fell apart on the back, but still scored decently.

I got off really early today so I buzzed down to Bandon and was able to get 18 in today. I arrived at 3:30 and teed off at 3:45. Total round time, 2 hrs and 15 mins. Pretty good! Shot a 76. It was a gorgeous day, probably close to 60 when I teed off and no wind at all. It was a perfect day! I am here in the hotel with Oregon Golfer and we are playing Old MacDonald and Pacific Dunes tomorrow. Forcast for tomorrow, 60 degrees and sunny!

Wow, that's awesome! Nice shootin Dr. T! If I end up in Oregon this summer we'll have to hook up for a round or two!

Absolutely!

I shot a 43 on the front, the back was backed up so we hopped on the front again, didn't keep score the 2nd time around, but I would venture it was around the same. Somehwere between the range and the 1st tee I lost all ability to hit the driver I was hitting it well on the range, but from the first tee on I was hitting it real low on the face. Couldn't get the ball up in the air to save my life, I have never had that problem before. I was still getting decent distance thanks to a ton of roll. But on a tree lined course with very few straight holes, not being able to get it over the trees is a major problem. Between that and the hurricane force winds, I was pretty happy to shoot a 43 on the front.

Thanks to some tips from a Pro me and Mward got paired up with on monday, my putting is finally headed back in the right direction, after a month long hiatus from sinking putts.

40-37 - 77

11/14 Fairways
8/18 GIR (but 6 more putting from fringe)
28 Putts

A surprise beautiful day after a mixed forecast. I opened with a pair of pars then a pair of bogeys, but wedged to under 3 feet at the 5th and thought "here we go" - until I missed the entire hole with a pathetic putt. Peeved, I nearly holed an 8I at the par 3 island green, but spun to 8 feet - and holed the birdie. After a par, I began my reversal - 6 over in the next 4 holes, all caused by horrible short game execution. Just like that I jumped from +1 to +7. I saved the 12th with a 10 footer for par, and saved the 13th the same way. Then I wedged to 10 feet at the 14th, only to see my birdie ring the cup and get spit out. After another par, I made a 4 foot birdie and a 15 foot birdie at 16/17, and narrowly missed finishing with the 'turkey' at the last hole, to finish at +5. Not often do the wheels come off as badly as they did for me at holes 8-11, and then get turned around for -2 over the last 7 holes.

Bonus today, the weather held off and we did get to play. I almost wish it had rained. I was awful, hit it terrible and putted even worse. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. (43 40) 83

76 today with 4 birdies. Last 12 rounds have been between 72 and 78, with about 5 of them being 77.

80 at Meadowbrook, Fort Worth. Very windy and chilly this morning after a week of mild temps. Several looks at birdie but only converted 2, the rest lipped or I left short. Greens were slow due to some rain that we got yesterday and earlier in the week. Playing again tomorrow at the same track, so we'll see how it goes.

41-40 for an 81. Struck the ball well, although a lot of my approach shots came up short. Short game was horrid. 34 putts, including two 3-jack bogeys

Went late this afternoon and got in 9 before the rain came. Shot 46 with 5/7 FW's but only 2 GIR's and a ghastly 19 putts. The shorter shaft on the Supertri kept me in play but very short so I didn't get many greens. I was happy with the ball striking but not the distance.

44-43 = 87

Chilly and very windy day here in north TX (winds constant at 15 gusting to 25).

Stats:

6/13 FW
4/18 GIR (0 on back)
33 putts

Could not putt to save my life through 7 holes and then made an adjustment abandoning the slight forward press with the belly and started putting very solid. Struck the ball pretty well, just not hitting greens from 150 and in.

Back at it again Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Lots of work ahead!

im interested in seeing how you make out with your experiment. How much distance do you think you've lost with the shorter shaft?

90 41-49. I can't figure out my driver at all. I hit 4 fairways today and didn't have much distance at all.

Shot a 100 on my first 18 in ~5 years...Pretty happy and I only lost 1 ball!

I shot a 46 before the rains poured and ran me off the course....had 3 OOB's and 1 water hazard all off the tee....new flat swing was causing the duck hooks today....everything else was pretty good...short game kept me at a decent score.

Hopefully it won't rain and I can get back out tomorrow.

Shot a 46+42 for a 88 today, but the round was much, much worse that what the score shows. I couldn't seem to get the ball in the air today but it would roll forever, got a lot of course love with great bounces and the occasional bounce off a fence back into the fairway.

Welcome To THP!

I shot a fairly bad 97. 20 mph winds all day on a course I've never played. Fast greens and not very reliable tee shots. And I thought I was getting back into the groove!
