Official 2013 THP Golf Outing & Demo Day Details - The Ultimate Weekend of Golf

I think all of the villa crawl finally got out of my system.

Interesting anecdote from last night's flight. I was sitting next to a professional basketball player. I could tell that he was a basketball player, because he was about seven feet tall and really big. Guy was built like Will Perdue. I could tell that he was a professional, because he was traveling with an incredibly attractive blonde girl who looked half his age and massaged his scalp during most of the flight.

Another interesting anecdote. While sitting on the runway, the pilot shut down the engines and announced that we were on "at least an hour" delay because of a ground stop in Atlanta. About two minutes later, the engines fired and we almost raced down the runway to take off. After we were in the air, the pilot announced that we were given a two-minute window to get off of the ground, or we would have been stuck for "at least two hours" for a delay.


I hope whomever is playing today plays great. I'll be hitting the links at my desk while waiting for the review thread to open.
 
This time Yesterday; On the range, laughing it up with THPers and being accused by Reunion staff of hitting my 8i in to the Annika Academy (roughly 320 yard carry in to the wind).

You could hit that shot just to the right instead of between the 2 people practicing! And she saw them landing! So it must be true

Played today with KellyBo, Old Grey, and my wife. We all hit some great shots,but golf was only the vehicle for an opportunity to enjoy some time with great people. I personally didn't play real well, and did thing I hadn't done in years, shank, skull and more thinned shots than should be allowed in a round, a d I was victim to a ballin pocket to give my blood pressure a chance to return to normal. But playing with Bill and Kelly is an absolute must for each and every THP'er! The are nothing short of a blast to play golf with.

I have so many great thoughts and things to say and it will all come out in the recap! I can't type well on my Iphone like some folks (at the outing) however I can get er done on the computer at home. Without a doubt this was the most fun and best outing I have been to, ever! I'm still recouping as we got home late last night after traveling 573 miles. KellyBo's sore back and my knee being bent for that long, made me looking like I was walking with a corn cob up, er I won't mention the rest of the statement :D. i got a bunch to say in the recap thread, once I gather my thoughts!
 
Definitely going to have to try and make this next year.

I'm kinda like well crap around the forum right now. Lol.

We are on the road for the first leg of our journey back home. I told Richard that he had to drive the first part of the day because my body is so tired.

What a weekend. Full recap will be coming when I get back home, but thank you to every last one of you for this experience...and thank you all for welcoming Richard into the family.
 
Very glad that everyone had a great time at the Outing, and thanks to everyone who posted thoughts or pictures this weekend. Really appreciated being able to live vicariously through your posts.
 
Made it home late last night sitting on a flight with 6 children under 3 all around me being very vocal and displeased. Never knew how tired and sore I was until the adrenaline had left. Was an awesome time and looking forward to the recap. Meeting new friends and seeing old friends was huge. Monday blues have set in.

Your reaction was hilarious. If she would have only seen your wedge play on Friday, she would have seen your range swing is no match for the Annika Academy
